I Don't Want This Fame in This Life

A stubborn tsundere turns into a lovesick yandere. A righteous, closeted man who insists he's straight attacks a wicked yet righteous, sharp-tongued, flirtatious "flower thief" who plays hard to get.

(A mutual, one-sided-to-the-other straight-to-gay romance, a lofty flower falling from grace, enemies becoming lovers, accidentally succeeding at training a dog when he never meant to get one, and a touch of coercive love.)

Bai Yu had just entered the martial world and was arrested as a villain the very first time he tried to be a good person.

Bai Yu: "You can't call me a scumbag just because I look like one."

He heard they were going to take him to Qingyun Sect to be sentenced, and was so scared that he planned to escape that very night. So he got close to one of the disciples and sweet-talked him into letting him go.

He soon forgot all about it, remembering only that the disciple who helped him escape had been rather handsome.

The last thing Ren Tangxue said to him was, "I'll come find you."

Bai Yu didn't need promises. He had things he wanted to do.

The young master should go back and inherit his family business.

They were never meant to walk the same road.

The next time they met, they might be enemies.

Until one day, the young master really did find him.

Ren Tangxue pinned Bai Yu to the ground. Bai Yu couldn't break free, no matter how hard he tried. He saw Ren Tangxue covered in blood, and watched him toss aside his chipped sword.

"You really can run."
