Brother Squanders the Family Fortune on Infrastructure, You Keep Seducing [System]

The Grant family had two geniuses that year: an older brother with an extraordinary talent for business who gave it up to become an artist, and a younger brother who hit his rebellious phase at twenty-four, sporting twenty-five piercings all over his body and working as a scientist.

They both got bound to Systems on the same day.

Older brother: [Spendthrift System]; younger brother: [Enchantress System]

Older brother: Bro, the System says I have to blow through 4.7 billion in twenty days...

Younger brother: Bro, the System says I have to seduce that governor...

The System also predicted that their honest, simple-minded dad was actually a corrupt official with connections on both sides of the law. If they didn't spend all of their dad's money, the Chief Governor would investigate their family in five days. The whole family would either be dead, or some would die while the rest were locked up.

Brothers: Don't tell me our dad got bound to a System that screws over his sons?

The older brother tries his best to spend money, but accidentally gets obsessed with infrastructure development.

"I'm already trying to spend money. Why do we keep making more?"

"Bro, you're supposed to squander it, not make money and bring it home for the family to spend!"

The younger brother makes a clumsy attempt to seduce the governor, embarrassing himself and causing plenty of laughs.

Younger brother: He tries to flutter his eyelashes, but ends up winking and grimacing.

Governor: He's been provoking me this whole time.

Later...

"Bro, what do I do? I think he's actually into me!" The straight guy screams.

Younger brother: Just breathing.

Governor: He's seducing me.

Younger brother: Watch me pretend to be sweet and get the drop on him.

Governor: He likes me.

1. This story has lots of different elements, including secret identities, people misreading situations, tycoons, Systems, and infrastructure development.

2. The older brother is Ai Wen, and the younger brother is Yi Fan. Both have love interests.

3. The older brother's storyline focuses on his career, while the younger brother's focuses on romance. This does not mean the older brother has no romance storyline or the younger brother has no career storyline.

4. The business details in the story are 70% made up and 30% wildly made up. The story does not take place on Earth and does not represent any real region or person. It has a fictional setting with a mishmash of ideas, so don't read too much into the names of positions and titles.

5. Price comparisons: a steamed bun costs 15, a bottle of mineral water costs 20, and a boxed meal at a construction site costs 30-50.

Theme: Building public infrastructure and protecting the environment are long-term investments in humanity's future.
