Blurb
Shen Zhu is a spy sent to Zhao by the Fu Ling Bureau. To obtain the antidote and stay alive, she maneuvers between the royal court and the noble families, carefully planning each step. But her identity is exposed all the same.
She expects to be thrown in prison and tortured. But when Huo Jianzhong, her usually taciturn "husband," learns the truth, he hides her secret instead of reporting it.
A fire leaves her badly injured and bedridden. She asks Huo Jianzhong why he helped conceal her identity.
Huo Jianzhong smiles at her as he holds out a bowl of medicine. "As long as you behave and stay by my side, and stop having dealings with the Fu Ling Bureau, I can pretend none of this ever happened."

P.S. The last character in the male lead's name is pronounced chong, with the second tone.
The blurb's events take place in Chapter 47.
(The setting is entirely fictional; everything serves the story.)
*My next book, In Wind and Snow, is starting soon. The blurb is below. If you're interested, check out my author page~
A cold-hearted princess VS a devoted, unhinged assassin
Shen Feng is the Fu Ling Bureau's most capable assassin, but after killing the wrong person, he is assigned to protect a delicate princess who cannot fend for herself, sent away to marry for political reasons.
On the night this princess from Zhao gets married, her husband is assassinated and dies despite treatment. She is now stuck in the palace, enduring contempt and mistreatment as she waits for the truth behind her husband's death to come to light.
Shen Feng, assigned to guard her, remains unmoved by it all.
Then one night, the princess hangs her longest dress from a beam and weeps. He barely manages to save her, remembering the mission the Fu Ling Bureau gave him. From then on, to stop her from hanging herself, he fetches charcoal when she says she's cold, applies medicine when she's hurt, and gets back at anyone who bullies her...
Then one night, the princess says she wants to learn swordsmanship. Shen Feng hands her his sword, only for the usually frail princess to press its blade against his throat the very next moment.
In a cold, hard voice he has never heard from her before, she says, "Either take me out of the palace or die. Choose one."
Theme: Live with determination and face life with a positive attitude.
Freezing to death on the street? Is there a pit behind it?
Catch a big bug for the author~, the date of death
Read a chapter, Marriage first, love later? The name of the male protagonist, Huo Jianzhong, is not very pleasant. It is a very rough name. Also, why is he called "female gentleman" and "male gentleman" in the article? This is the first time I have seen this title.
