Planet X had been abandoned for many years, and Tang Ci was its only resident.
He inherited the sanatorium his elders had left behind, cleared land and farmed it himself, and occasionally hosted people from other planets who came to stay and recuperate. Life was peaceful.
Then one day, several spaceships landed on Planet X. A noble Omega whose gland had been damaged in an accident moved into the sanatorium, and Tang Ci's life grew lively.
The man had a terrible temper and treated his subordinates abominably, but he was incredibly gentle with Tang Ci.
He taught Tang Ci to use the latest technology, helped him cultivate a vegetable garden, and held his hand tightly when his illness flared up, begging him for help.
No one had ever treated him like that before. Somehow, the two of them crossed the line, but Tang Ci thought he'd only made a good friend.
Then one day, his good friend left. Planet X began to wither, its rapid aging rendering it uninhabitable.
Tang Ci packed his things, planning to seek out the only friend he had.
But at the address his friend had left behind, there was no noble Omega, only the Empire's celebrated general, an Alpha.
Tang Ci hadn't even seen his face before the guards threw him out. At that moment, the central square was broadcasting the news of his good friend's engagement to the Empire's most esteemed Omega prince.
Tang Ci was a little sad. Weren't they good friends? Why hadn't his friend invited him to the wedding?

When he agreed to marry the prince, Yi An's mind flashed to Tang Ci.
At first, he had approached Tang Ci only for Planet X's resources. Later, seeing how sweet and sensible Tang Ci was, he decided it wouldn't be so bad to keep him by his side as a partner.
His plan was to enter a fake marriage with the prince, stabilize the Empire, and then return to Planet X to bring Tang Ci back.
But at his engagement party, Tang Ci arrived as another man's date, smiled brightly at him, and held out a gift with both hands, innocent and well-behaved.
"Congratulations on your engagement."
"Why wouldn't I give you a present? We're friends."
"Aren't we?"
Yi An suddenly felt a pang in his heart for no reason.
*Alpha gong, Beta shou. No further differentiation.
*The blurb sounds like a groveling arc, but it should be a sweet romance (?)
Theme: Friends should never keep secrets from each other
