He Lost His Memory Before the Divorce

Shi Yunzhou and Lu Ji had been married for three years, and they were still loving and sweet with each other.

No matter how busy he was, Lu Ji always came home to eat with him.

He threw a lavish celebration for Shi Yunzhou's birthday and arranged a dazzling fireworks display on the beach.

To outsiders, Shi Yunzhou had been incredibly lucky to marry Lu Ji after the Shi family fell into decline.

Only Shi Yunzhou knew that Lu Ji didn't love him. He had married him only to repay the kindness of Shi Yunzhou's father, who had raised him.

For all three years, Lu Ji had slept in the study. Their loving marriage was an illusion, and the two of them were as distant as roommates.

As their sham marriage entered its fourth year, Shi Yunzhou found a divorce agreement in the study that Lu Ji had prepared the year they got married.

He finally decided to get a divorce and set them both free.

But he got into an accident on the way and ended up in the hospital.

Lu Ji rushed over. The usually aloof Shi Yunzhou cried and threw himself into Lu Ji's arms. "Why did you only get here now? I missed you so much."

Lu Ji: "...?"

It turned out Shi Yunzhou had lost his memory and forgotten everything that had happened after he turned sixteen. After listening to what the people around him told him, he firmly believed that he and Lu Ji had been in love since they were young.

To avoid upsetting him, Lu Ji could only play along.

He ate with him, coaxed him to sleep, and took him to watch the sunrise in the middle of the night when he was in the mood.

Everything seemed to prove that Shi Yunzhou was right: they were a sweet, loving couple. But there was one thing he couldn't figure out.

Why was his life with Lu Ji so chaste?

Was this really how a married couple of four years should live?

No way. One night, Shi Yunzhou stared at Lu Ji's back and thought, I have to get Lu Ji up to speed.
