I Became a God in Ancient Times

On the Cangman Continent, demons and ghosts run rampant. People pray to the gods and buddhas, yet not one god answers.

A mighty cultivator left these final words: There are no gods left in this world. If you want to save yourselves, seek a sliver of hope in the Forest of Silent Desolation, where ten thousand will die for every one who survives.

For the past hundred years, countless talented and unusual people have gone there one after another, and countless lives have been lost.

The people weep, believing that Heaven means to destroy the human race.

Then, one day, a young man wanders into the Forest of Silent Desolation. The gods appear, and all things come to life!

Skits:

Xu Qingyao: I shouldn't have let my lust for beauty land me in this enormous pit!

Qi Yan: Am I not good-looking?

Xu Qingyao: You are, you are, but what the hell does that have to do with anything?!

Qi Yan: Sob~ Yaoyao, do you have another dog outside? Don't you love me anymore?

Xu Qingyao, brushing him off: I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you.

Qi Yan: I knew Yaoyao loved me most!

Xu Qingyao: Clutching the wall, stomachache.jpg.

Pairing: Xu Qingyao, a clear-eyed, naive college freshman who transmigrates and becomes an invincible heroine × Qi Yan, the husband who fell from the sky, a love-struck pretty boy who is content as long as he has his wife and happily lives off her, yet is devastatingly beautiful and tragic.

No "the heroine is strong, but the hero is even stronger" here. Our heroine is the strongest and invincible!

Don't expect logic. I'll write whatever comes to mind. As long as it's fun, that's what matters.

Theme: We weather hardships to welcome a better future. After bitter comes sweet, and contentment brings joy~
