Chiyo, the Flower Goddess

I'm going premium on June 16. I'll be posting 10,000 words that day. Thank you so much for your support, my dears~

A tale of the breathtaking love between a "shrine maiden" and a demon fox!

Blurb:

I am Chiyo, the Flower God, and Tamamo-no-Mae's "wife."

One of the ancient gods born of heaven and earth, Chiyo governs the vitality of all things in the world. Her favorite thing to do is use the underworld's six realms of reincarnation to be reborn as a mortal and wander through the human world.

She never expected to fall in love with a nine-tailed fox, or to bear his children. After regaining her divine form, Chiyo couldn't believe what had happened. She secretly slipped out of Takamagahara, intending to meet her newly minted husband.

But then...

I heard my precious children, my son and daughter, were killed by an onmyoji!

Fine!

Chiyo bared her teeth in a smile and viciously created countless disastrous plants, including man-eating flowers, man-eating vines, and murderous willows, taking over Heian-kyo!

As for her partner?

If he can't even protect his children, she doesn't need him!

Tamamo-no-Mae: !!!∑(?Д?ノ)ノ Chiyo, I was wrong! Love me again!

P.S. Warnings:

Lots of heavily reworked canon and personal worldbuilding. Any out-of-character portrayals are on me.

Angels passing by, please add this to your favorites! Kisses!
