With that, Lu Linyu ignored the weeping woman behind her and walked toward the dark alley.
“Not enough!”
Those two words pierced Lu Linyu's heart like a bullet. She stopped, tears streaming down her face, lips trembling. “You are... you are her...”
“I'm your...” Song Wanci wept as she took one step after another toward the person she had waited more than two thousand years for. Tears blurred her vision. The rain was coming down so hard. “Your little bunny wife...”
