Bai Jintang was reborn.
He returned to five years ago, when he had fallen into the water and lain unconscious.
In his previous life, his subordinates tried to wake him and took the terrible advice of an old Daoist. They actually kidnapped the amnesiac Regent and arranged a marriage to bring him good fortune. After waking, Bai Jintang felt terribly guilty, so he tried to make it up to the Regent in every way, serving him the best food and drink.
But two years later, the Regent seized power and usurped the throne of the Bai family. Before Bai Jintang could even settle the score for his kingdom's fall, the new emperor used the pretext of reminiscing about the past to abduct him, a prince of the former dynasty, into the imperial palace and lock him in his bedchamber, where he endured endless torment.
When Bai Jintang awoke from the dream, it was the night of his wedding to the Regent. He opened his eyes to find the arrogant man glaring at him with blood-red eyes, trying to assassinate him. Bai Jintang kicked him away and forced him to kneel at his feet. Bending down, he gripped the man's chin. "If you don't want to be my consort, then be my concubine. If you don't want to live, I'll grant you a fate worse than death. How does that sound?"
Bai Jintang returned to the capital by imperial decree. On his first day in the city, just as he stepped down from his carriage, a dagger shot straight at his face. He couldn't dodge in time, and the golden crown on his head was knocked off and shattered. His long black hair spilled loose in an instant, leaving him disheveled and strikingly beautiful.
"So sorry. My hand slipped."
Bai Jintang looked up as the Regent strolled toward him. The tip of the blade slid over his throat before the Regent teasingly lifted his chin. "Your Highness, long time no see."
His fragile neck was forced upward, like a swan stretching out its throat to be slaughtered, caught in a dying arc. Yet Bai Jintang smiled as calmly as ever. "I have to admit, I've missed being waited on by the Regent."
The officials were all stunned. The Regent's face grew so dark it seemed ready to drip with fury. He barked, "Bai Jintang!"
Bai Jintang smiled with tender affection and leisurely moved the dagger away from his throat. "You don't have the right to call me by my name." Then he slapped the Regent hard across the face!
The Regent held all the power, while Bai Jintang was merely an idle prince. Everyone wondered how long Bai Jintang could survive in the capital after daring to offend the Regent. But instead, they heard that Bai Jintang was getting married.
On the wedding day, guests filled the residence. Bai Jintang wore his wedding robes, smiling brightly as he celebrated his marriage in the prince's manor. The festivities were in full swing.
Then the Regent arrived in full armor, his personal troops surrounding the manor so completely that not even a drop of water could get through. Blades were pressed to the throats of every guest. Only then did the Regent stroll languidly over to Bai Jintang.
Everyone held their breath, thinking the Regent was finally about to back down.
Instead, the infamous killer dropped to one knee before Bai Jintang and offered up the Tiger Tally with both hands. His eyes burned with passionate love and possessiveness, as if he already had Bai Jintang in his grasp. He said, "Your Highness, I've come to offer the betrothal gifts."
Bai Jintang said coldly, "Today is my wedding day. What makes you think that just because you've come, I'll agree to marry you?"
The Regent stared into Bai Jintang's eyes and rasped, "It doesn't matter if you say no. I'll kill them all and take you away anyway."
"You're quite the little wolf cub." Bai Jintang suddenly smiled. He rested a hand on the Regent's arm and bent down to speak to him, his voice alluring and intimate, as if it held a hidden hook. "I'll accept the betrothal gifts. But when we marry, I want the imperial robes to serve as my wedding dress. Will the Regent agree?"
"That's exactly what I want, too." The Regent's lips curved upward, his gaze deep and smoldering. He took Bai Jintang's hand, laced their fingers together, and stood up. Then he announced to all the guests, "From this day on, His Highness Prince Ning is my wife!"
Who could have guessed that this ruthless Regent hadn't come to kill anyone, but to propose?
And Bai Jintang got to see the Regent become a pawn in his hands, just as he had hoped.
Reading Guide:
1. This is a fictional setting with plenty of made-up details. The political scheming is just for fun, and the leads are both amateurs. Don't take it too seriously.
2. Everything in the story serves the protagonists' romance. Happy ending.
3. [Important: Both leads are each other's first and only partners] Bai Jintang (bottom) and Xie Zhuo (top).
4. The person who marries the bottom in the blurb is a spy from an enemy kingdom. The couple team up to expose him, so there's no abandonment involved. The kingdom fell in the previous life because the bottom's father, the emperor, was a tyrant who got himself killed. After the bottom is reborn, the top helps him seize the throne, and the bottom becomes emperor. Happy ending!

Sheng Yunjin was sickly from childhood. The Empress Dowager helped him become a puppet emperor, and everyone hoped he would die. To keep the officials in line, he had to pretend to be volatile and capricious just to cling to life.
One day, he finally woke up to the truth: he had transmigrated into a book.
In three months, the Chancellor and Empress Dowager would join forces to poison him.
The Chancellor controlled the court, while the Empress Dowager in the harem watched him like a hawk, eager to devour his flesh and drink his blood.
This powerless emperor, trapped in a frail body, had no choice but to seek help from his former enemy, Prince Beichen Yue Xilou.
In the emperor's bedchamber.
Behind the beaded curtains, Sheng Yunjin wore only a thin robe. His face was haggard, but the beauty mark at the corner of his eye seemed to glow, making him breathtakingly beautiful. His former enemy pinned him against the imperial throne and kissed him without restraint, humiliating him beyond measure.
"Your Majesty, does it feel good?"
Yue Xilou had come for power, but now he had changed his mind. All he wanted was to humiliate his former enemy as thoroughly as possible.
Later, Sheng Yunjin had the Empress Dowager executed and the Chancellor's entire family put to death. He became emperor in name and in truth, while Yue Xilou was bound hand and foot and brought to the imperial bedchamber.
Inside, Sheng Yunjin wore a thin red robe and stood barefoot on Yue Xilou's chest. A ruby anklet glittered around his ankle as he looked down at him and asked, "Do you want to live?"
"Yes."
Sheng Yunjin smiled and pressed his foot against Yue Xilou's chest, humiliating him. "Then be my dog, and I'll pardon you."
Yue Xilou gritted his teeth in hatred, but circumstances forced him to submit. He became a wild dog at Sheng Yunjin's feet, one that might bite its master.
In the first half of his life, Sheng Yunjin only wanted to stay alive. But fate demanded that he die and become a stepping stone on the protagonist's path.
He refused.
If Heaven denied him a way to live, then he would carve one through a mountain of blades and a sea of fire.
He would make the whole world prostrate itself at his feet.
In the end, Sheng Yunjin became an emperor remembered through the ages. Millions rallied to his side, and countless people were willing to give their lives for him.
The once-arrogant, ambitious Prince Beichen, Yue Xilou, looked at him with red-rimmed eyes and asked, "Your Majesty, don't you want me anymore?"
"Please, Your Majesty, show me mercy..."
Theme: Live in harmony, and bring happiness to one another.
After reading the story, I feel quite emotional. In fact, the external CP is very good. The characters are more vivid. Things are impermanent. I don't praise suffering, but death is not the end. The empress is lucky in this life and has experienced different experiences. At the same time, I also celebrate the perfection of Bai Jintang and Xie Zhuo in this life. They are both strong souls.
It's not bro [heartbroken] 💔 The main character is written to death, how could anyone post the ending to show off the flowers?
On the day I saw the new article, everyone around me was talking about it. The latest news was reported on TV: It was observed that someone spotted an unknown creature flying in the sky. Although it was fleeting, it still attracted the attention of most people. Some scientists observed that this creature had two giant legs and moved very fast. It was suspected of being an alien. I lay in bed silently, listening to the questions and discussions about the strange phenomenon. I thought it was not enough to eat. When will my wife post the next chapter?
Although I think there are loopholes in the book (I read the author's postscript and said it's a bit confusing), but! I think! The author's torture part is very well written (what a strange hobby of mine), and the protagonists really like the top-notch sex between them 🤗
Finished spreading flowers!!!! After the exam, I felt so good after watching it all at once 💪 💪 💪
Damn, this article doesn't have the tag of Chasing My Wife's Crematorium [Heartbreak] Great, we're done.
Is this attacking the essence? Is it affecting the brain? No, no, no, his wife is sick and he also discovered that she may have some mental problems. He refuses to communicate like this. He keeps it inside when he is angry, and then tosses her hard on the bed. To be honest, if you were not both men, I would have suspected that Tangtang would have died on the bed 💔
When you see this attack, you will get angry and [crack]. The emperor master or the little monk, please come and take our baby away.
"I can't retreat." This is a big bug for the author~ Regressed [covering face and peeking]
??? What a funny extra [covering face and peeking]
