After Abandoning the Infinite Boss Twice

Ming Zhishui was a top-tier player in an infinite survival game, until he entered a scenario called [God's Forbidden Zone] and finally met his match.

There, he met a beautiful NPC who perfectly matched his standards for a partner and was also the key to clearing the scenario. Ming Zhishui used him to clear it, all while promising him a lifetime together and agreeing to take him out of the scenario.

Later, Ming Zhishui learned that the so-called NPC was actually the god of [God's Forbidden Zone], as well as the biggest boss in the entire infinite game. Without hesitation, Ming Zhishui chose to kill the god and clear the scenario.

But just as Ming Zhishui was about to leave [God's Forbidden Zone], the god came back to life and dragged him back into the scenario.

To save his own skin after being dragged back, Ming Zhishui had no choice but to keep deceiving the god with his honeyed words. He fussed over the god every day, playing the devoted wife until he had the god utterly besotted.

But while he was deceiving the god, Ming Zhishui was also searching constantly for a way out of [God's Forbidden Zone].

At last, Ming Zhishui found someone who could take his place as the god's wife.

The substitute was greedy and arrogant, daring to covet the god openly. He made no secret of his jealousy toward Ming Zhishui and wanted to take his place as the god's wife.

Once Ming Zhishui found out, he struck a deal with the substitute and successfully escaped [God's Forbidden Zone].

As he left, he smiled and bade the scenario one last farewell, grinning arrogantly. "Goodbye, Forbidden Zone. Farewell forever, Lord God." Then he left without hesitation, making sure to lock the scenario's gates behind him.

Ming Zhishui had thoroughly enraged the god.

That very day, a wanted notice for Ming Zhishui rang out across the entire infinite game.

"Capture Ming Zhishui alive. Capture Ming Zhishui alive, or capture Ming Zhishui alive."

The god of [God's Forbidden Zone] is the most terrifying being in the entire infinite game, and its only god. Ghosts and monsters bow before him, while players avoid him like the plague.

Ming Zhishui had deceived the god's feelings twice and successfully escaped to the real world. Just when he thought he could finally rest easy, he discovered that because he had switched identity cards with the substitute, he had to play through the entire infinite game all over again.

And the god wasn't the only one after him. He also faced all manner of terrifying ghosts and monsters, as well as players coveting the bounty.

Ming Zhishui smiled faintly.

Unfortunately for them, he wasn't afraid.

He would climb back to the top, where gods and monsters alike would bow before him.
