[Blurb]
As the world's barriers shatter, evil forces from another realm continually seep through the cracks into reality. With every battle, Fula grows stronger. She sails through even the most desperate brushes with death as if they were nothing. Her comrades envy her talent and good fortune. Some even compare her to the commander-in-chief of the Border Guard Corps, lavishly praising her as the second peerless genius after the commander.
Fula humbly replies, "You're too kind."
But once she turns her back, she mutters disdainfully, "That mere commander-in-chief? I'll replace him in no time!"
A shadow that no one else can see appears beside her and sneers coldly. "Keep dreaming."
Fula: "...Whose side are you on?"
Everyone thinks Fula is an unparalleled genius, blessed with extraordinary talent and incredible luck. She commands countless secret spells and incantations lost to history, making her invincible against her enemies. But no one knows the deepest secret she keeps in her heart: she has an all-powerful guardian deity who answers her summons whenever she needs her most and grants all her wishes.
The god hears a summons from eternal slumber and descends into the world in an avatar. A tiny girl with her hands clasped and dewy eyes gazes at her with the most devout anticipation. "Are you my guardian deity?"
The god falls silent for a moment, then smiles faintly. "I am."
The god has no name. After chewing her fingernails down to the quick and searching through an entire bookcase of books, the little one gives her a beautiful name: Xiwei.
And so the god has a name.
The world is colorful, and the flowers of civilization bloom in all their brilliance. Xiwei watches coldly from the sidelines, only occasionally lowering her proud gaze to pass lightly through the bustle of the mortal world.
Later, Xiwei meets an interesting man. He offers her all his fervor and love, and wins the god's favor as he wished.
If he can stay interesting and obedient, Xiwei is happy to let him remain by her side forever.
She simply never expected that when circumstances forced her to "take his love and leave him" and return to the divine realm, the man who lost his beloved would... shatter? In the literal sense.
Tsk. Men are so fragile.
Reading guide:
1. This is a fictional world with extensive original settings. Please do not compare it to reality.
2. The heroine is not human. Do not judge her by conventional moral standards. She pretends to be weak while secretly being powerful, and there are scenes of her acting cool behind the scenes.
3. The male lead is strong, but the female lead is stronger. She is the ceiling of power throughout the story, a king of cool with a touch of chuunibyou. Readers who are devoted to the male lead, beware.
4. The plot and romance develop together. The female lead is beautiful, powerful, and domineering; the male lead is head over heels in love. The second female lead probably has a growth and career arc, and will have a fair amount of screen time. Please keep this in mind.
Theme: Those who chase the light will eventually shine brilliantly.
Pig Head??????? After looking at the character column, I realized that I was almost fooled by the copywriting, thinking that Fulla was the female protagonist... Xiwei was the male protagonist.
"Lackluster." The author uses this word a lot [covers face and peeks]
