My completed Matsuda story: I Used My Shrine Maiden Powers to Save the Detective World

[This story] Bai Ma Ying has been blessed by the god of love. Her perfect boyfriend has fallen from the sky. He’s handsome, gentle as jade, an amazing cook, and great at flirting.

When he’s injured saving her, his catlike eyes shine blue: “I don’t need a reason to protect you, do I?”

Trapping her between his broad chest and the wall, the young man smiles faintly. “Can’t you tell what I’m doing, Sakura?”

Sure enough, Bai Ma Ying falls in love.

But then she discovers that the man has another side, just as she herself isn’t really the sweet, demure young lady everyone thinks she is...

One day, while secretly gathering evidence against a wealthy businessman at a party, she sees through a pinhole camera that her almost-boyfriend is calmly wiping blood off a knife, his expression cool and distant. A corpse lies right in front of him.

The next day, when he confesses his feelings, she thinks: It’s fine. Let’s see who gets the better of whom.

When she discovers his identity, she decides to go all out.

When she discovers yet another layer to his identity, she thinks: You’re so done for.

Scotland carefully plots every step, luring the little kitten into his snare.

Hiromitsu knew from the start that things between them would never end well.

But feelings can’t be controlled by reason.

Even so, he never imagined that just as he prepared to die with nothing left to hold him back, she would fight her way through every obstacle to appear at his side. “You want to be my big hero? Dream on!”

The flames blurred Hiromitsu’s vision. All he knew was that his sun was running toward him.

A sweet, romance-focused story. All five of the police academy classmates survive. A slow-burn relationship, with little focus on the Organization.

On her eighteenth birthday, Higurashi Shichiri awakened her shrine maiden spiritual powers. She could see the “aura” around people. Those with hearts as kind as angels were surrounded by a white aura, the utterly wicked had a strange purple aura, and those on the brink of death were hidden within a black “death aura.”

When she left home again, she found that Edogawa Ward, just across the street, had turned into Beika Town. Every traffic police officer who walked past her was surrounded by a white halo and a thick aura of death...

On November 7, Matsuda met a “charlatan.” That charlatan later became a police officer, too.

She believed in the supernatural.

He believed in science.

As long as they lived, they would keep arguing.

“He’s handsome, but what a mouth on him.”

“She’s a perfectly nice young woman. Why does she believe all that nonsense?”

And then,

On the fifth November 7 after they met, Matsuda survived the Ferris wheel incident.

Standing by his hospital bed, he looked down at her, his expression dark. “So this was the price, wasn’t it?”

Higurashi Shichiri gave no answer, just rolled her eyes. “Hmph. It wasn’t.”

“But if that’s what you’re saying, does that mean you believe I have spiritual powers now?” She teased him with a smile. “Great! Keep your promise, Officer Mazda. Go outside and shout three times: ‘Lady Shichiri, divine being, Matsuda is a dummy, ’”

Before she could finish, the person in front of her suddenly bent down and kissed her forehead.

Think the prince and princess lived happily and peacefully ever after?

Higurashi Shichiri would like to object.

While rushing around trying every possible way to save people, she could only ask the heavens in exasperation: “Why are all your classmates so unlucky?!”
