Song Tiantian is five years old this year. Incidentally, he also has a childhood friend his age, Xiao Yuanyuan.

One day, they are taking apart a newly bought TV at home. The moment they pick up a screwdriver, they blink and find themselves in another time and space.

[World One: Hagiwara as a Guardian Spirit]

When Matsuda hurries to the First Investigation Division, he sees two kids sitting in the seats who look exactly like tiny versions of him and Hagiwara. His colleagues nearby keep giving him complicated looks.

Even though Matsuda insists he doesn't know the two kids, the evidence is undeniable. Then little Hagiwara leaps at him and shouts, "Daddy!" so Matsuda has no choice but to take them both home.

He doesn't realize how serious things are until he hears the rumors at the Metropolitan Police Department growing wilder by the day:

[World Two: Hagiwara the Kamaitachi]

Hagiwara met a human named Matsuda when he was young.

Matsuda wasn't afraid of his yokai identity at all, and the two became the best of friends, enjoying a happy childhood together. Their bond was only broken when Matsuda had to move away.

As Hagiwara grew up, he came up with an idea: he would go to the human world and find Matsuda.

So adult Hagiwara slings a little bag over his shoulder and sets off to find his friend.

"Looking for Matsuda. Male, curly hair, high nose bridge, handsome face."

"Good-looking and nice-tempered."

"Your good friend is waiting for you to come home."

But Hagiwara never expected to find tiny versions of himself and Matsuda before he found the real Matsuda.

Hagiwara, looking shocked: "So if you bond with a human, you can have a perfect one-to-one replica of your kid?!"

[World Three: Shine Bright, Star!]

Hagiwara and Matsuda are the hottest rising stars in show business.

One shines freely on stage, while the other is active on the big screen, winning audiences over with his portrayals of villains.

In public, they are rivals in different fields who are constantly compared. In private, they are childhood friends who grew up together, close enough to act in ways that are anything but ordinary.

They have denied it countless times, but everyone insists it's just fan service and a publicity stunt.

So, brave little Hagi-Matsu fans, accept Hagiwara's request!

You must prove that he and little Jinpei are the very, very, very best childhood friends in the world!

The blurb still needs work. I can't think of anything else, including but not limited to:

Mermaid world: mermaid Hagi-Matsu

Game world: NPC Hagi-Matsu

Police Academy: the group of five raising kids together

Black-side reversal: Black Hagi-Matsu, undecided

Strangers: Hagi-Matsu without a childhood-friend setting

[Note] The world order is random.

Basically, it's a story about the demolition squad from different parallel worlds getting roped into caring for kids. Young Hagi and Matsu meet adult versions of themselves with all kinds of different settings.

The pairing is adult Hagi-Matsu. The younger Hagi and Matsu return to their original world, and only start dating after they grow up.

Theme: A life lived with passion.
