Geto met Gojo in a game, and at first he just thought Gojo was incredibly skilled. As they got to know each other, Geto discovered that Gojo was not only great at the game, but a lot of fun in person, too.

They talked about everything, and never ran out of things to talk about.

As the days went by, Geto came to know Gojo better and better.

He learned that Gojo loved sweets, so he would always send Gojo his local specialty, edamame and fresh cream daifuku.

He learned that Gojo lived in an old-fashioned, feudal family, so he would send him popular games and manga.

He learned that Gojo was especially fond of diving, because Gojo sent him lots of beautiful underwater scenes every day. Geto sent him the most professional diving gear, though he never saw Gojo use any of it.

Gojo sent Geto plenty of family specialties, like pearls and seafood.

On the nth day of knowing each other, Gojo confessed his feelings to him.

Somehow, Geto had fallen in love online.

His online boyfriend was incredibly cute, with hair whiter than snow and eyes bluer than the sky.

His online boyfriend liked acting spoiled around him and eating sweet treats one bite at a time.

Then one day they met in person, and Geto was dumbfounded. His boyfriend, whom he thought was so cute, was taller than him and stood 190 centimeters tall, calling himself "your dad" every other word.

His online boyfriend held up a photo on his phone and asked, "Does the real me look much different from the photo?"

Geto fell in love, and his boyfriend was still cute even at 190 centimeters tall.

His boyfriend had snow-white hair... and a particularly beautiful fish tail. Why the fish tail, you ask?

Because his boyfriend was a mermaid from the deep sea.

In their free time, they swam hand in hand through the underwater world, and kissed intimately at the highest point of the Ferris wheel.

Geto held Gojo's hand, and they promised never to let go for the rest of their lives.

After enrolling at Jujutsu High, Geto acquired a mysterious System.

By completing various missions issued by the System, he could earn points, which he could use to buy all kinds of items in the shop.

Including, but not limited to, "Special Grade Cursed Technique Reversal Manual," "Maximum Technique Application Guide," and cursed spirits of various grades...

Normally, Geto wouldn't believe in something as good as a free lunch, but with all those tempting rewards before him, he shamefully couldn't resist.

Just then, the System issued its first mission: [Hold Gojo's hand for one minute]. Geto opened the shop and saw that the points he would earn were exactly enough to buy a Grade 2 cursed spirit.

It's only holding hands, Geto thought.

He decided to give it a try. After sitting silently for a full minute, he turned and went to Gojo's dormitory.

When Geto asked to hold his hand, Gojo's expression slowly twisted.

One minute later.

Geto happily heard the points being credited. The moment he bought the cursed spirit, he realized a strange Grade 2 cursed spirit had really appeared in his cursed spirit inventory.

Ever since they held hands in the dormitory, Gojo noticed that Geto had become especially strange. Sometimes he would come over and secretly take his hand, and other times he would suddenly hug him from behind...

Gojo couldn't figure it out no matter how hard he tried.

Being the clever one, he made a post titled, "Does My Best Friend Keep Sneaking His Hand into Mine Because He Likes Me?"

Original poster: My best friend has been acting really weird lately. When we're out, he keeps secretly holding my hand. When I ask him about it, he stammers and can't get the words out... One time I woke up and found him really close to me...

Gojo read the replies, wearing a catlike expression of sudden realization.

Having found his answer, Gojo decided to give Geto a chance. But after waiting and waiting, Geto still didn't confess, so Gojo decided to make the first move.

Geto noticed that his best friend had been acting strangely lately, always saying inexplicable things like, "Suguru, don't hold yourself back," and, "Suguru, be bold and show them who you are."

Before he could figure out what was going on, Gojo confessed to him.
