After working the night shift, Chen Jinyou comes home to find that the apartment next door, which should be dark, is lit up.

He instantly gains a whole new understanding of how popular this rundown apartment complex is.

The moment the elevator doors open, he sees the face that should only be appearing on his phone screen.

Mu Bai reaches out to stop the elevator doors from closing. His clear voice rings out. "Senior, long time no see."

Chen Jinyou forces an awkward smile. "...Long time no see."

He looks down at the boxes piled on the floor.
