The Heirs of Wudang

The ambitious and farsighted Hongwu Emperor brought an end to the age of chaos.

The Ming dynasty had just been founded, and everything was waiting to be rebuilt. The people prospered, and life grew better with each passing day.

But on a stormy night, an arrow from beyond the heavens pierced the Eastern Palace, killing the Crown Prince and piercing Hongwu's heart.

The heir's sudden death was an ill omen.

To protect the Zhu dynasty, Hongwu devised the "Burning of the Celebration Tower" to counter it, wiping out nearly every veteran general who might threaten the authority of the Crown Prince's son.

The "remnants" of several great families joined forces to form a revenge organization called the "Black Flame." They allied with the remnants of Goryeo and operated in secret, launching wave after wave of assassinations against members of the royal family.

During an operation to strike at □□, Lan Yu, the Crown Prince's maternal uncle, distinguished himself.

He led an army straight into Goryeo.

From the demon monk Sin Don, he learned who had masterminded the assassination of Crown Prince Yiwen all those years ago.

A painting titled Seven Sections of the True Warrior's Sword-Tempering Diagram was placed before him.

Lan Yu was plunged into confusion.

Disguised as an ordinary cleaning disciple, he infiltrated Mount Wudang.

Meanwhile, Zhang Sanfeng, the 141-year-old leader of Wudang, sensed that his end was near. He planned to choose a successor from among his seven disciples: Song Yuanqiao, Yu Lianzhou, Yu Daiyan, Zhang Songxi, Zhang Cuishan, Yin Liheng, and Mo Shenggu...

(Note: The Seven Heroes of Wudang were real historical figures, recorded in works such as On the Origins and Branches of the Song Family's Taiji and Wu Family Boxing Manual.)
