The Crane Bids Farewell to the Green Mountains

Lan Heci was supposed to be named Lan Heci, with the character for "resignation". But it was clear what sort of person she'd become even as a child. When she chopped off a pig's head without blinking before she'd even grown all her teeth, her father worried and changed her name to Ci, meaning compassion. Later, she roamed the martial world with her senior brother, Yu Taohua. From the time she was twelve until she was twenty-two, they spent ten years making a name for themselves, becoming heroes praised throughout the martial world for their courage and righteousness. But that wasn't enough for her. She wanted to pursue the ultimate in martial arts. She told her senior brother, "When I've mastered it and come back, I'll bring you a jug of peach blossom wine." But when she finally came down the mountain again, her senior brother had become a resident of the grave. "Memoirs of My Late Husband" #At first, I didn't miss you that much. I just thought it was a pity# #Later, I realized that once you say farewell, the word means a thousand mountains and rivers between us, and a separation between life and death.# P.S. The peach blossom male lead definitely isn't dead. This isn't a tragic story. I'm a sweet romance writer. Inspired by: "The crane returns to the green mountain, but this spring there are no peach blossoms." This line should be a modern adaptation, but I can't find the source. The original line is: "When the crane returns, no one recognizes him; the spring breeze has opened every peach blossom." [Sorry, this blurb was revised by Miss Peacock (Trial Wife). Since I can't write a story with the Trial Wife premise, I've switched to another upcoming story. Sorry if you don't like it, ladies. You can remove it from your reading list.] Theme: Effort is the most important thing
