I Really Have Played All Their White Moons

Lan Qingchan is a minor actress. She works diligently, day and night without rest, and in just one year since her debut, she's appeared as a supporting actress in four melodramatic historical web dramas. Happiness is just around the corner. Once they air, she'll become famous! But before the shows can air, she transmigrates to ancient times and becomes a disgraced country scholar who disguises herself as a man to take the imperial examinations. At first, she thinks she's landed in a story about transmigrating to take the exams and rise to success, but gradually she realizes something isn't right. Why have the worlds of all four melodramas merged?! The deposed crown prince, Feng Yanzhi, has lived a lonely life. He hates the world and is almost mad, but deep in his heart he cherishes a palace maid who once served him in the Cold Palace. Song Jingming, a self-disciplined and courteous gentleman whom everyone praises as a paragon of virtue, has a secret no one knows: night after night, he dreams of making love to his widowed sister-in-law. The treacherous minister Yu Heng had a childhood sweetheart when he was young. They supported each other, but he pursued power single-mindedly and neglected his wife after they married, allowing misunderstandings between them to deepen. The overbearing, orphaned young marquis Jing Zhiwei had an elder sister who once led him by the hand through the seasons of his childhood. They depended on each other to survive. At the end of their stories, all the women died in the prime of their lives, becoming the white moonlight in the men's hearts. In the year Lan Qingchan arrives, the men are all still consumed by the pain of losing her. They independently decide to find a substitute. Then they all set their sights on her. "You look just like my palace maid/widowed sister-in-law/childhood sweetheart/elder sister." "Shh, don't talk. Just be my substitute." Lan Qingchan: "..." Heh. Hehehe. "She's" a man now! How is this even possible?! #I did play all their white moonlights, but I can't handle all four at once# The author describes this as a lighthearted, silly comedy, written only to make you laugh. The plot comes first. The male lead has not been decided yet. The heroine's main goal is to turn things around. The male leads' personalities may change from what's described here, depending on how the outline develops. [Qingchan means cicada] Theme: When you're at your lowest, fight against the wind and turn things around
