A Fish in Yi Gao

Ling Yun is a fish. What kind of fish? No idea. But to help the Education City project meet its goals, he was sent to a different city to attend Shangyi High School.

How did he get in? As a rare (flower) species (money), admitted through a special (paid) program (for students).

Shangyi High has a school bully who’s so badass he can take on an entire street.

Ling Yun refuses to believe it. “I’ve never heard of anyone whose surname is Zhou and whose given name is Lord.”

The person in question raises an eyebrow at him. “I heard you like me?”

Ling Yun: Don’t believe rumors, don’t spread rumors...

Later, Zhou Liu discovers that his deskmate is actually a beautiful mermaid, and that Ling Yun is soft and sweet from head to toe.

Zhou Liu: It’s him? Fine, I’ll protect him, I guess.

Ling Yun: Pretending to be human so he’ll protect me won’t hurt!

Later still, he grows into a real mermaid and only then begins to understand love.

Ling Yun looks into Zhou Liu’s eyes. “Tell me you like me.”

Zhou Liu: “I like you.”

But then he discovers that the person he loves is part of a grand conspiracy.

Six-year-old Ling Yun: I’ll save you.

Ling Yun, who has only just learned to love: You’re a deception they brought here!

[Fragile, soft, and easy-to-push-over mermaid bottom (not really, one touch and he could fuck you to death) x Flirtatious, rakish top (fake, he’s inwardly called him his adorable wolfish hubby ten thousand times)]
