Blunt and obedient little succubus dragon VS sharp-tongued, cool-faced hottie!
(No children, not in the entire novel.)
Lang Yu is a little dragon who has died. His soul is unstable, and he urgently needs to absorb the yang energy of a virgin boy to stay alive and recreate his dragon body.
Luckily, he tricked a pure-hearted virgin Heavenly Master into offering him yang energy, then coaxed him into hunting evil spirits with him.
Every day, they expose fake mystics who wear Balenciaga and call themselves the Eight Departed Families, exterminate evil ghosts, and earn merit.
The key to recreating his dragon body is golden fluid, but no matter how much he tries to coax Lin Huaizhou, Lin refuses to give in.
Until one day, Lin Huaizhou announces unilaterally that he's carrying Lang Yu's egg.
Lin Huaizhou says with a straight face, “The prerequisite for producing golden fluid is pregnancy.”
The illiterate little dragon is stunned. “Men can give birth too?!”
Lin Huaizhou's hand pauses on the dragon's tail. “...But I have exceptional talent.”
Marriage requires a betrothal gift. Lang Yu asks for the moon: “Fine, we can get married, but I want two hamburgers every day, plus a pizza.” (No bargaining.)
Lin Huaizhou is a once-in-a-millennium young Heavenly Master. His fate chart is broken from birth, and his merit is immense. He lives to seek the person destined to be his match. He thinks that when the two of them clash, only one can survive, since he doesn't want them to live and die together.
But when that destined person appears, he hesitates. Peaceful coexistence is already the greatest concession he can make.
Later, he personally presents a handmade little dragon bed worth tens of thousands, BJD doll clothes with fiery gem accents, a handcrafted golden body, and more.
After an accident, Lin Huaizhou is tainted by the resentment of the Ghost Emperor, and Lang Yu is so worried he bursts into tears.
He comforts the little dragon. “It's all right. Don't cry.”
Unexpectedly, the little dragon suddenly takes human form, throws himself into Lin Huaizhou's arms, and presses their lips together, kissing him frantically and clumsily in his desperation.
At last, he nestles in Lin Huaizhou's arms, eyes red and glistening with tears, looking deeply concerned.
“Huaizhou, are you feeling better?”
A long-forgotten emotion flickers in Lin Huaizhou's eyes. His voice is hoarse. “Good boy, just a little more.”
Their fates intertwine, and layers of sealed memories flash past. Lin Huaizhou clutches Lang Yu tightly. So it had always been him. After lifetimes of reincarnation, this time he would never let go.
A little scene:
In their new home, Lang Yu stares intently at his own belly.
“Senior Brother, it's been five months. Why hasn't your belly changed at all?”
Lin Huaizhou lies through his teeth with a straight face. “It's normal. Nezha was in his mother's womb for three years before he was born.”
Later, Lang Yu learns to search Baidu and is stunned. “Humans and dragons are reproductively incompatible!!!”
He interrogates Lin Huaizhou. “Senior Brother, look me in the eye. Are you carrying a dragon's egg?”
Ever since Lang Yu and Lin Huaizhou got together, Lang Yu has had one wish: to give birth to a little dragon for him.
With Uncle Lin's help, Lang Yu buys a lifeless dragon egg.
That day, Lang Yu follows the instructions and puts the egg in the incubator, but accidentally hits the remote control.
In unbearable distress, his eyes red, he sobs as he calls Lin Huaizhou.
When Lin Huaizhou rushes back, he finds a little dragon rolling and crying on his bed, whimpering at him.
Lin Huaizhou takes a deep breath, then scoops up the damp little dragon and strokes his tail. “Good little dragon, your senior brother will help you.”
When Lang Yu first takes human form, he can't properly control his horns or tail, and they keep appearing from time to time.
Luckily, his senior brother always promptly straightens his Taoist robe and adjusts his crown.
But every time, his senior brother spends ages touching him, until he can barely stand.
Old Man Lin warns Lin Huaizhou, “Seductive ghosts suck out vital energy.”
Lin Huaizhou agrees wholeheartedly. “Suck it, of course. But not in gaseous form, in liquid form!”
Old Man Lin: ...

The Villain Squad of the Apocalypse:
The seas reverse their flow, energy sources run dry, and mutant beasts roam unchecked...
Human civilization comes to an end.
As one of humanity's lucky survivors, Li Yue enters a higher-dimensional civilization, where people are known as the Heaven-Gifted.
To stay alive, he enrolls in military school and becomes the lowest-ranked “trash” in the entire school.
But trash piles up sooner or later, and the school's last six rejects form a team!
A cowardly puppet who instinctively clings to life,
A half-blind man who claims to be a divine fortune-teller,
A berserk idiot who attacks friend and foe alike,
A weakling who faints at the sight of blood,
A jerk who thinks he's the cockiest man in the world,
A lazy fish always ready to split up.
Li Yue stares at the sky speechlessly. But the scariest part is that the team's only lazy fish presses the most primitive dagger against his lower back and threatens in a low voice, “Don't move. If I stick it in, I won't be able to pull it out.”
Later, Li Yue wishes it really had been a dagger!
Qi Lianzhou somehow ends up teamed with a bunch of useless losers. He keeps thinking about breaking up the team and going home, but then he realizes there's something strange about his trash teammates.
No matter how formidable their opponents are in the arena, they always manage to survive thanks to one accident or another.
But what makes him most curious is Li Yue, the coward who clings to life.
He corners Li Yue and threatens him. Li Yue isn't afraid at all, but pretends to cry in fright.
With a sneer, he lifts Li Yue's chin. “No tears, so why are you squeezing so hard?”
Later... he couldn't have been more wrong.
He teases, “So that's where you were hiding all the water... Though it really is tight.”
A little scene:
After their identities are exposed in the six-person arena, they reveal their backgrounds when they return to the team.
When asked how many people they killed before hiding out at military school, all six hold up one finger.
Later, when their identities are exposed a second time, they realize the six had given a number, but never specified the unit.
