The Proud Young Lady's Caged Sparrow

(An XP story, a sweet-talking coercive romance)

Song Lianyi has recently taken a liking to her personal maid, Jing'er. She bought Jing'er from a human trafficker, and Jing'er has served her for over eleven years.

Jing'er is six years older than her, but she looks young and charming, and treats her well. Unlike everyone else, she isn't a hypocrite. Every night, she wipes down Song Lianyi's whole body, massages her legs and feet, then carries her to bed and sleeps beside her.

Late at night, Jing'er's breath brushes against her neck as Song Lianyi rests her head against Jing'er's chest. It is so soft that her heart trembles.

She wants to strip Jing'er bare, and lies awake with red-rimmed eyes.

But Jing'er only thinks of her as an innocent girl who knows nothing of love.

Song Lianyi thought her Jing'er would stay by her side forever. Then one day, Jing'er packed her things and said she was returning to her hometown to marry the fiance she had never met.

Jing'er is beautiful, with red lips and pearly teeth, and a slender, graceful figure. Like a wild lily swaying in the wind, she kneels before Song Lianyi and begs through her tears, "Miss, please let this servant go."

Jing'er looks so pitiful, yet her words are like a knife plunged into Song Lianyi's heart, each one twisting the blade.

She slaps Jing'er, and the tender cheek she has kept so carefully swells up.

Jing'er crawls over on her knees and clings to her leg, her eyes shimmering with tears. "Miss, please have mercy on me."

Song Lianyi grips Jing'er's chin and bites her lip. "Jing'er, why won't you have mercy on me?"

A seemingly frail, proud, dependent flower, but inwardly rebellious, naturally wicked, scheming, and disabled eldest young lady x a seemingly conservative and self-effacing maid, but actually an independent, strong, and gentle older sister.
