--I like Gin so much that I couldn’t help tormenting him. If you’re interested, I recommend reading the free early chapters first, then buying the rest one chapter at a time.
Gin, male, secondary gender Beta, with a beautiful butterfly for a spirit animal. His real name is Kurosawa Jin, and he lives in Beika Town, Tokyo. On the surface, he’s a rich second-generation heir who works a variety of side jobs. In reality, he’s a high-ranking member of an organization, an assassin who walks in the darkness.
The organization’s name is too embarrassing to use, so people in the underworld call it “Brewery,” though some call it “Winery.”
That’s not important.
What matters is this:
The cat Gin picked up has two identities.
The cat he’s engaged to also has two identities.
The little bird he met in a certain country during a mission likewise has two identities.
And they all want to have office romances with me.
That won’t do. A subordinate can’t become a wife. Becoming a wife would affect mission success rates, the relationship between a boss and a subordinate, and the monthly paycheck. More precisely, it would affect my career prospects.
Wait, what? They joined the organization without caring about the money?!!
*
Akai Shuichi once approached an Omega with ulterior motives. In the end, he was the one who got his heart stolen, but that was fine. Those who deceive others will be deceived in turn.
The problem was, this Omega was a high-ranking member of the organization he was infiltrating.
How interesting. His undercover career had been exposed before it even began.
And that still wasn’t the worst of it.
The worst part was, his love interest had someone else!
Question: How do I bring home the enemy lover I deceived?
*
When he was a child, Furuya Rei had a beautiful fiancee, but one night she and her family disappeared without a trace.
Years later, they met again in a criminal organization.
The gorgeous, lively Omega with the sweet pheromones seemed to have become a cold, nasty Alpha, but that was all right. Alpha-Alpha relationships could work, too.
Oh no, his fiancee was a fiance, and he was a high-ranking member of the organization.
Even worse, his childhood friend was in the organization, too, with the codename Scotch, and was getting quite close to his fiance!
Question: My childhood friend and fiance are together. Should I stop them?
*
When Morofushi Hiromitsu first arrived, he worked diligently as an undercover agent, trying to max out his professional skills. Just as he was about to complete his mission, he was told he could take the codename exam.
What was that? Never mind, he’d take the exam!
On the day he successfully earned his codename, he met his direct superior.
Wasn’t that the person he’d been crushing on, the one saved in his phone? Brother, I like my direct superior. His net worth (bounty) is over a hundred million (dollars). Should I get together with him?
If you have a crush, you should act on it. Morofushi Hiromitsu decided to keep his feelings and his identity separate: he’d date and do his job.
Just when he thought things could go further, Gin ditched him to go on a date with a strange Omega, then came back smelling of Alpha pheromones.
The scent was incredibly familiar.
Question: Why does my childhood friend’s pheromone smell linger on my partner?
*
Gin, a famous codename holder in the organization and a born-and-bred son of the black, has a heart colder than the weather in northern Siberia.
Neither his ex-boyfriend, the fiance he accepted as a child, the team members he picked up, nor anyone else begging for his affection can thaw his icy heart.
Until his boss slaps an unlimited black card on the table. “Spend whatever you want. Buy any toys you like.”
Gin: ...Have you finally lost your mind?
Question: If I kill the organization’s boss and take over, does that count as betraying the organization?
*
Office romances are a bad idea.
Note:
1. ABO setting, with inconsistent technology levels and lots of original worldbuilding.
2. No shipping bets, not a everyone-loves-the-protagonist story, no BG or GB pairings.
3. The red and black sides will become one big happy family. My brain’s a little broken lately, so the story will probably be... well, as bizarre as purple-blue licorice soup. The police academy cast’s deaths will be averted. There will be original alcohol codenames, but they won’t steal the spotlight.
4. No whitewashing or watering things down. The second-generation heir stays firm in his loyalties and on the side of black all the way. Yes, I plan to kill off a pair of background parents. OOC for everyone. If I write enough, the only canon pairing I’ll keep is Shinichi and Ran.
5. The organization will fall, but Kurosawa Jin and his teammates will be happy, joyful, and free.
6. As mentioned in point two, there are no shipping bets and this isn’t a everyone-loves-the-protagonist story. Looking at the pairing chart... (sigh) I guess he’ll spend the rest of his life with his beloved Porsche.
Theme: Nothing is more fun than work!
Has it been spread that 🐶 is made from rum?
I met the beautiful gin at the corner [heart eye] [love eye] [love eye] and picked up a boss gin (bushi)
Hahahaha, I guessed it, but I don't want to accept it [cat's claw]
Chianti single-handedly brings down everyone 🍉
So beautiful 🥺 Miss Qinzi, please step on——[loving eyes][loving eyes][loving eyes]
As expected of the Year of the Horse, give me a blow immediately [hold your chin] I have no feelings for Shixiao's IP, and 73 obviously doesn't like Aqin either. The villains are used as cushions, and even if the IP explodes, they can only lie down and be scolded. It's so miserable...😭
Does love turn people into mission targets that need to be killed? That's a very bloody love story [Hold fist]
Hiro: trying to save gin: Always provocative
HhhExecution ability/.
Oh, Karasuma Renya, the hidden sasaeng fan.
