There are countless readers in the world, and each has their own peculiarities.
They go to great lengths, spend all their money, and cry, "I'm waiting with a bowl!" Beneath every story, they leave traces of "paw prints and flowers," wishing they could lock every author away and make them write ten thousand words a day...
Until one day, a System calling itself "Daily Update Supervisor" binds them.
"Hey, want to meet your favorite author in person and demand an update face-to-face!?"
A crowd of readers smirked. "Of course! Leave demanding ten thousand words a day to me!"
[World One:]
You're a rich family's illegitimate son who's seen through the world's illusions and has nothing going for him except money. Your only hobby is reading novels, but your favorite author has been on hiatus for a year.
Everyone tells you to stop waiting. It's an enormous unfinished pit. But you keep throwing tips day after day until you're bound to the "Daily Update Supervisor" System.
You are transported straight to the author's side from the start. You see a beautiful young man covering the gland that was surgically removed on the black market, silently facing his arrogant, high-and-mighty ex-husband.
You hear that bastard Alpha yelling:
"An Omega like you, who can't take care of a family and only knows how to fool around and make a fool of yourself, is useless! All you're good for is wasting money. I feel sick just looking at you!"
You're consumed with rage. You've forgotten that you've seen through the world's illusions. All you can think is:
My favorite author went on hiatus for a whole year because of this piece of trash!? It's just money. Who doesn't have any?
You pull the beautiful young man toward you. With countless onlookers watching, you hook a finger under his clean-cut chin, your narrow eyes and brows calm and unruffled.
"Do whatever you want with ten million. How about coming home with me?"
Later, you hide in the corner of the room. Seeing the young man reveal his slender, pale waist, you cover your burning ears and speak up in outrage:
"I told you to write ten thousand words a day! I didn't tell you to do this!"
The young man raises his beautiful, almond-shaped eyes. "My dear little Alpha, who doesn't bite glands, did you want ten thousand words a day? My nickname is Wan."
[World Two:]
You're the villainous boss of an infinite-flow story: vile and sinister, you love nothing more than leaving "paw prints" and "flowers" under your favorite story. Every time, the author leaves a "squeeze" in response and diligently updates.
Until one day, your adorable author disappears completely. You never get another fresh update, and you wait in vain, going mad in the infinite-flow world until your "Daily Update Supervisor" System arrives.
You carry a scythe and head to the author's side.
Countless crimes are pinned on that poor, beautiful Guide, all because he refuses to tend to the Sentinels. A cannon is raised above his head, and his coldhearted fellow citizens are about to cruelly kill his spiritual entity.
You're furious.
You cloak the entire Federation in black mist and become an omnipotent ancient god in their eyes. But you acknowledge only one believer.
Blood stains every place your scythe touches. You trap him in an empty corner and diligently carry out your task:
"Hey, ten thousand words a day?"
The elegant Guide lowers his eyes and reaches a slender hand toward your collar. You feel a chill, until you hear the Guide's gentle voice:
"As you wish."
Later, you clutch your untouched smart device in despair, eyes red as you cry, "My updates! My food!"
The beautiful Guide seems to think of something. He crouches in front of you, opens his collar, and raises an eyebrow with a teasing smile. "You can leave as many paw prints as you like."
The crimson marks between his half-open collar reveal the traces of your past fits of madness.
[World Three:]
You're a talkative, active reader in the comments, transported to the side of an author who disappeared. You see the author, a failed idol candidate overshadowed by the protagonist's brilliance, standing sadly at the edge of a cliff.
You immediately leap into action, pulling your only remaining author close and giving him a dose of encouragement. You see a glimmer of hope appear between the boy's furrowed brows, and think that ten thousand words a day are just around the corner.
Later, the young superstar actor corners you backstage at a livestream. You clumsily try to dodge his kabedon, but end up getting a sweet, soft kiss.
"No, I'm the gong."
That's what you say.
Until the next day, when you silently discover that your name has suddenly become a trending topic:
#MostAdorableCouple*I'mTheGong
You see the sweet, soft boy's brows curve as he gives you a knowing smile, tugging at your sleeve with a lighthearted voice. "Big brother, happy to make our relationship public?"
You close your eyes in confusion and let out a piercing scream: "You didn't even update properly!"
I wanted you to update your novel, not post an update announcing our relationship QAQ
What's wrong with wanting ten thousand words a day? orz
