Assistant, It's Time to Clock Out! [Younger Top]

Love-struck but in-control top x sharp-tongued, scheming, nurturing assistant bottom

After his father passed away, Xu Yaochuan, who had always been used to doing as he pleased, took over the group. He spent his days and nights with Zhong Yan, the executive assistant his father had entrusted him to.

The aloof, stunning beauty was exactly his type, but his personality was frankly unbearable. His tongue seemed dipped in poison.

And not only was he untouchable, he also kept tabs on Xu Yaochuan in every aspect of work and life.

Why? Because it was his father's dying wish.

If he slept in, Assistant Zhong would come over and yank off his covers.

If he went to a bar, Zhong Yan couldn't drag him out, so he drank all his alcohol instead...

But the one who fretted when Xu Yaochuan was sick, silenced people who talked behind his back, and clumsily baked him a cake was also this assistant.

When his annoyance turned into a pounding heart, he knew he was done for.

Then he would pursue him!

Faced with the young CEO's endless gifts and constant attempts to get close and touch or hug him, Zhong Yan could only helplessly push him away. "I just want to help you build your career."

Xu Yaochuan: "Hug me, Brother Yan~ This is how I recharge. I need a full charge to work."

Zhong Yan: "..." He had no idea this brat could talk such nonsense!

What could he do?

He could only spoil and indulge him. He was more than willing.

They'd kissed, they'd done it, and marriage was all that remained.

Xu Yaochuan was planning their future when he received Zhong Yan's resignation letter.

What? You're leaving?

No way!

He wanted the family business, sure, but he would never let his beloved go!

Old Master Xu was Zhong Yan's benefactor. With his financial support, Zhong Yan completed his studies. To repay him, he agreed to help Xu Yaochuan, the Xu family's only son, take over the group smoothly. But things went beyond anything he'd expected.

Faced with the young man's passionate affection, he couldn't accept it.

He wasn't a handful of pure snow untouched by the world on a mountaintop. He was a pile of rotting leaves and dead branches in the abyss. He shouldn't sully that warmth and brightness.

In Xu Yaochuan's heart, no one was more genuine than Zhong Yan.
