A scheming, sickly beauty gong versus a seemingly obedient but actually fierce wolf-dog shou
[Manuscript in progress~] Wen Yingzhou transmigrates into a book by accident and becomes a frail, villainous boss. In the original story, after failing to win over the protagonist shou, the original owner takes on an assistant as his substitute lover. But the substitute is an undercover agent, and the protagonist gong and shou eventually scheme against him and get him killed.
Wen Yingzhou: Interesting. Life is just a play, so why not have some fun?
The curtains rise. Before he can do anything, the substitute eagerly throws himself into his arms.
Tao Rong: I’m more obedient than him. Won’t you give me a chance?
Wen Yingzhou: ...Obedient? On the outside, maybe!
But who could resist a puppy who looks slim in clothes but is very well-built?
Especially when he has a pair of bright, dewy eyes.
Wen Yingzhou certainly can’t, and he’s more than happy to play along.
The protagonist gong and shou come looking for him one after another. He deftly handles them and has the time of his life playing his part, but then he discovers that his “obedient” “substitute” is full of holes and keeps crossing the line.
He drinks coffee on an empty stomach, and the other man dares to snatch the cup from his hand.
He gets sick and refuses to take his medicine, so the other man feeds it to him mouth-to-mouth without a word.
When someone comes looking for trouble, the other man beats a whole group of them senseless before he can act.
The substitute isn’t very good at pretending to be obedient. He’s just a fierce, hard-to-handle wolf-dog, but he lets Wen Yingzhou touch his abs and rub his waist. When those sharp eyes look at him, he’s utterly docile and especially easy to bully.
So,
What script? What story? He’s going to change the tragic ending for the villain and his little substitute! And he’ll start by turning the undercover agent to his side!
Wen Yingzhou: A promotion, a raise, and a private office. Let’s get those arranged first.
Tao Rong [shakes his head]: Could I rent a room at your place?
Wen Yingzhou: You want to live together? Sure!
And so, everyone at the company gets to witness Tao Rong’s increasingly obvious double standards:
To his coworkers: No problem, leave it to me.
To the protagonist gong and shou: Get lost. If you open your mouth, you deserve to be yelled at; if you reach out, you deserve a beating.
To his boss/housemate: It’s cold, put on another layer. Don’t stand in the wind. Exercise more. Eat properly. Be a good boy and go to bed on time~
Wen Yingzhou, pinned to the bed: Are you staying with me?
Tao Rong: !!! Isn’t this happening a little too fast?
Tao Rong’s identity as an undercover agent is exposed.
Onlookers: He’s just a little bird the big shot keeps. He’s definitely doomed.
Wen Group employees: Boss, take a bite. Taotao is definitely a sweet peach.
The protagonist gong and shou: Serves him right for not obeying!
Wen Yingzhou searches the whole city and finally manages to track him down.
Tao Rong: I don’t want to be a substitute. I never schemed against you. Please like me.
Wen Yingzhou cuddles his darling: You were never anyone’s substitute...
The next morning, a post by the head of Wen Group tops the company forum. Just four words:
#Bitten. So sweet.#
“He was the only one he still cared to live for. As it turned out, the feeling was mutual.”
Tips:
◆ The gong transmigrates, the shou is reborn. 1V1, both are virgins, sweet romance~
◆ The gong and shou love only each other from beginning to end.
◆ The gong is frail but not weak, and always in control. His health will improve.
Theme: Sincerity is repaid with sincerity, and life is full of endless surprises
