Friends, things have gotten serious.
Just like the opening of every horror movie, my car broke down.
It was getting late, so I had no choice but to get out and find a nearby village where I could stay the night.
It was a very isolated village called Old Makou Village. The village chief said people often went missing or died under strange circumstances there. As it happened, I was a detective by profession.
When I arrived, a young man who called himself a jujutsu sorcerer was working in the village. I could see a strange aura emanating from him.
The village chief said there were two children in the village who weren't right in the head, incarnations of monsters. As luck would have it, he was about to take me and the sorcerer over to see them.
I had a bad feeling.
It wasn't long before my instincts proved right.
The sorcerer had been provoked and threatened to kill everyone in the village, including me, the poor fool who'd only stopped there for the night.
This is the end of me! That stupid System that told me to become a detective and earn goodwill from the good guys never said this was a high-powered world crawling with cursed spirits!
