On the Compatibility Between the Uchiha and a Cthulhu Mythos Girl

What comes to mind when you put those two phrases together? Honestly, Haiyue can't think of anything. At four years old, she lives here with no memories and a mysterious past. Life at an orphanage during wartime is no picnic. She grows up here until the age of eight, living an uneventful life, until one day a group of shinobi from Konoha come to stay at the orphanage. Haiyue thinks she recognizes one of them. And that person seems to recognize her, too. By chance, she joins a Konoha squad to investigate a bizarre suicide, where she sees a “door” that only she can see. Her subconscious tells her someone has opened it. Something has gotten out. And she seems to be something that came from inside the “door,” too. Years later, she accidentally learns that she was a rejected test subject, and that the experiment was connected to an evil god from another world. A few things to know: 1. The heroine is initially anything but human in her understanding of ordinary things, but later becomes normal. Put simply, this is a romance with Lovecraftian elements (it also involves Type-Moon's “Beast of Humanity” concept, but there isn't much Type-Moon plot, so don't worry about getting lost). Her love interest is Shisui. 2. The first seven chapters deal with her “lost memories.” Chapter eight begins the timeline of the blurb, with the heroine joining Konoha. Theme: All beings suffer; nothing is what it seems. A single thought can lead to transcendence. Save others by saving yourself.
