An Astral Express Ranger, But in Teyvat [Honkai: Star Rail + Genshin Impact]

CP: Boothill x Argenti

Guns and Roses

Inspiration: A short video on a certain site had me completely hooked for five minutes. I laughed so hard I got snot bubbles, so I decided to write a story for Little Shark and Little Rose. It probably won't be very long, so please add it to your favorites if you like it~

[Blurb]

"What, you say you're a Galaxy Ranger?"

A strange guy showed up in Teyvat. Not only was his whole body mechanical, he even pulled out a gun to "greet" people the moment they met. Cases of people being "greeted" by an unknown person started cropping up all over Teyvat, much to everyone's dismay.

"Do you know what a Galaxy Ranger is?" A Millelith soldier scratched his head. "If no one can prove your identity, I'll have to detain you for now!"

Boothill tossed his head with a swagger. "Go ask a Wubbaboo, will ya? Go find out if anyone's ever heard of my fearsome reputation."

Just then, a flash of silver light swept by, and Argenti made his dazzling entrance.

"I can vouch for him."

The Millelith soldier stared at the two before him, dumbfounded, and began to doubt his own eyes.

How could a Galaxy Ranger be so confident he was practically glowing?!

And why was this girl who'd dropped out of the sky glowing, too?!

"I'm not a girl. I'm a Knight of Beauty. Please join me in worshipping Idrila."

Zhongli was invited to Mondstadt for a gathering. When he returned, he saw posters hung all over the city, along with the storytellers' vivid descriptions.

Zhongli: ? Did I come back to the wrong place?

"Consultant, this new guy's voice sounds a bit like yours, but he's not as stuffy."

Zhongli took a look. Sure enough, he wasn't stuffy.

The black-haired one had his arm around the redhead, showing off his mechanical muscles.

The redhead had a rose in his mouth and was examining it intently.

"Are these new employees?"

"No, they're new benefactors."

Zhongli: ?

Boothill: ?

I'm in charge of killing, you're in charge of burying. Isn't that perfectly normal?

[Reader's Guide]

* A warning: lots of personal headcanons. Any out-of-character writing is on me.

* The CP won't be split up or reversed. Let me show you what it's like inside a Boothill fan's head.

* Honestly, Sunday and the thirteen-year-old are pretty fun to ship, too. If you like them, I can write a separate book for those two.

Theme: A healthy state of mind is a prerequisite for success.
