My Personal List of Novels with Top-Led Relationships
Mostly traditional tastes, occasionally a bit twisted. I'm fine with any kind of BL setup, and I prefer equally matched couples. Well-written career plots, worldbuilding, or pure romance between a couple earn bonus points. Prefer a top or mutual pampering.
Top-Protagonist Stories: Satisfying, Feel-Good, and Harem
Gong protagonist, handsome gong, everyone’s favorite. Purely my personal opinion, with some snark.
Top-Dom BL Collection 1
Good writing, good plot, or both
Seme POV
Classics I haven't read, series
Top-Centric, Top Worship, Top Protagonists
Top-focused stories for fans who love the top, but I'm not too intense about it. The couples are endgame. The top isn't excessively self-sacrificing, the bottom doesn't betray him, the top gets plenty of standout moments and takes the lead, and the bottom is loyal and devoted.
Free Stories I Absolutely Love
I want to share some stories that I personally found absolutely delicious after giving them a try (I'll add more later).
Top-Protagonist Feel-Good Stories
Long Aotian protagonists from Qidian as bottoms, Qidian-style novels, and wish-fulfillment stories. All are top-focused. I've included some stories mistakenly tagged as bottom-focused, for fellow top-focused readers.
Top Picks for Seme-Centric Stories
There's so little content that my level of obsession has dropped a bit. Still, I'm basically more into top characters. I never give anything below two stars, so I can't give these five stars either.
More Disciplined, Strong Seme
If you know any stories with a noble young master gong, tell me where to find them. I have high standards for the writing.
2025 Personal Archive, Top-Protagonist Stories, A Bit of Everything
A very mixed reading log. I rarely have time to finish anything, so I only guarantee that the opening is good. I don’t belong to any particular character faction. I focus on the gong and care a lot about how he’s written. Bad writing is the only thing I can’t stand.
Charming Yet Trashy Tops [Strong, Trashy Tops I Once Loved]
Trash leads, self-indulgent leads, domineering leads, controlling leads, and some handsome-and-strong leads I read a very, very long time ago
Free Historical Danmei
Ancient Chinese BL, mostly top-focused stories. Great free reads, and the authors can all write.
Top-Centric, No Romance, and Romance with a Male Lead Who’s a Mary Sue
The characters' genders don't matter. What counts is that the protagonist is captivating and godlike.
Top Male Protagonist Fics
Subjective ratings, and I rate conservatively based on my preferences (feel free to add one star to each rating).
Rebirth Stories
No need to be embarrassed
Top-Centric
Treat yourself to something good.
A Story of Growth, Forever Passionate! Forever in Love!
Protagonists with charisma who charge ahead, are brimming with confidence, and uphold positive universal values. Includes both CP and no-CP stories, but no yuri.
Top Male Lead
As the title says: eclectic tastes. Plot > prose > how much I ship the pairing.
Boys' Love I Like
Mostly gong protagonists

I don't know if it's intuition or what? I was very, very interested in Rong Shao from the beginning, but because of the protagonist, I didn't dare to cp. Then later I found out that CP Rong Shao was indeed the master, so happy!
This article is great. I really like such a rational protagonist. Unlike some current articles, the one who is coquettish and frail is even weaker than the little white flower in Qiong Yao's drama.
It was written many years ago, but I think the two went together to Rong Shao to get married. It didn't portray the deep feelings between the two, but it was still very good! It's much better than many of the current articles!
Because this article is the main attack
The aroma of wine is also afraid of deep alleys. This article is really beautiful. Even if I don't read the main article, I love it so much. Please recommend similar articles (?^?^)?
I love it so much. I didn't expect that it's been so long since I read the book. If only the author would remember to come back and add extra chapters. I was a little worried about Be at the beginning, but it's not easy to see them together later. The ending is a happy ending! !
After all these years, I still like this book very much. It's so well written.
This is the eternal white moonlight in my heart
It has been eight or nine years since I just finished reading this book. I don't know why, but I still think about it. After a year or two, I will still open it and take a look. I am glad that I downloaded the full text, otherwise it would be impossible to read it now that it is locked like this.
A good article is one that can be picked up and read countless times no matter how many years have passed.
