Passing Through the World of Tomato Novels

Gu Zhen transmigrates into a world made up of several Tomato novels. His System lets him see the halos above the protagonists' heads.

The five-year-old child next door has a "genius kid" halo. At four, he mastered a hundred languages; at five, his IQ topped 200; at six, he could hack into major systems.

The genius kid's mother has a "runaway pregnant woman in a melodramatic romance" halo. Soon, a domineering CEO tracks her down, pins her against a wall with red-rimmed eyes, and grips her waist. "You are not running away again..."

As for Gu Zhen's two dads, one has a "scumbag gong who regrets losing his wife" halo, while the other has a "reborn shou seeking revenge as a substitute" halo. Every day, they put on a deranged farce: "Do you still love me or him? Tell me!" "I don't want to talk about it!" "Fine, I get it. Divorce! We're divorcing right now!"

At last, summer ends and Gu Zhen starts college. He thinks he can finally get away from the protagonists of Tomato novels, but the moment he walks into his dorm

A long-haired student from the next room comes to visit. With a "psychic yin-yang eyes" halo above his head, he stares at Gu Zhen with eyes so black they reflect no light. "There's someone on your head."

Gu Zhen is horrified, but the frosty, aloof-looking student in Bed 1 makes a hand seal. "Don't be afraid. With me here, the ghosts and monsters won't dare act up."

Gu Zhen takes a closer look and sees a halo over Bed 1: "Great cultivator ascends to the immortal realm, then transmigrates back to the modern world."

The gloomy student with an "infinite-flow max-level powerhouse" halo over Bed 2 walks into the dorm just then. Gu Zhen even sees the livestream comments above his halo...

[The powerhouse is back in the real world. Congrats, congrats!]

[Why do I feel like none of his roommates are good news?]

[It's fine. The powerhouse can just kill them all!]

The student in Bed 4 finally sits up. He's exquisitely beautiful, and the halo above his head reads: [Current main card in the draw system: Light Angel, 89 hours remaining].

A pair of enormous white wings unfurls behind him.

Gu Zhen shudders and quietly takes his seat, beginning to consider whether he can transfer schools.

Everyone in this dorm is a complete weirdo except him!

But it isn't just the dorm. Every upperclassman in his club also has a halo: "human Doraemon," "wealthy tycoon System," "fortune-telling golden finger," "post-apocalyptic esper"...

That night, the great cultivator in Bed 1 glances casually at Gu Zhen, who is trembling with fear. "If you're frightened, I can sleep in your room."

Gu Zhen looks up in terror, only to see the livestream comments from the infinite-flow powerhouse in Bed 2.

[If the powerhouse likes him, he should just go for it! Don't let that guy in Bed 2 steal your wife!!]

[Such a soft, sweet wife. The powerhouse must want to hold him while they sleep too.]

Meanwhile, the angel in Bed 4 wraps his wings around Gu Zhen. "You said before that you wanted to touch my wings. If we sleep together, you can touch them as much as you like."

Gu Zhen, trapped in a love-triangle fiasco: ???
