The Seventh Year of Our Marriage

Career-focused, cool-headed Alpha girl × Insecure older Omega man who wants to be a stay-at-home dad

Jiang Xia and Su Hao have been married for seven years. Su Hao is her senior by four years. Jiang Xia fell in love with him at first sight when she was a freshman.

She pursued him for a long time before winning him over. They dated, got married, and a year later Su Hao quit his job to focus on being a full-time househusband.

Meanwhile, Jiang Xia worked her way up in the corporate world and became a vice president at a young age.

She had always thought her marriage was happy and perfect. Apart from not having children, it had no flaws at all.

She also thought their marriage would stay that way forever, but her husband Su Hao clearly didn't agree.

Seven years into their marriage, Su Hao inevitably began to worry about his appearance...

He noticed that his wife had been coming home less often lately, and she was also rather cold in bed. She had even stopped wanting her favorite pacifier.

He knew he wasn't young anymore. He had fine lines at the corners of his eyes, and maybe his figure was starting to go...

But he never expected their marriage to take such a sharp turn for the worse.

Late at night, he heard Jiang Xia get up and go to the balcony to make a phone call. Her voice was tender in a way he hadn't heard in a long time. "Be good. I know he's boring and not young anymore. I'll take care of it as soon as I can."

Wide awake, Su Hao buried his face in the covers and clenched his teeth, refusing to let the tears fall.

A bittersweet gender-bender romance, with the seven-year itch.
