The Concubine Who Fled the Eastern Palace

Everyone knew that Crown Prince Xie Yuanzhuo had a favored concubine, a woman as lovely as a jewel, delicate and alluring.

Yet she had once been a courtesan, and people had whispered plenty behind her back because of it.

Later, the crown prince had them all killed, without sparing a single one.

From an obscure favored concubine, she became a consort known to all. The dashing, valiant crown prince coaxed her gently: "Be good, just wait a little longer. I will make you empress."

Kang Xuerou nestled into his arms, her voice tender: "Your concubine doesn't care about that."

The crown prince kept his word. He fought his way through every obstacle, seized the throne, and eliminated every threat, making her his legitimate crown princess.

On the eve of her investiture, the evidence of treason against the Eastern Palace was undeniable, and the entire palace was raided.

As Xie Yuanzhuo sat imprisoned, he saw her standing beside his enemy.

After taking her revenge, Kang Xuerou fled the capital in the dead of night.

If nothing unexpected happened, Xie Yuanzhuo would die in prison tonight.

She had some savings, enough to live out the rest of her life in peace.

But later, news came from the capital: the deposed crown prince Xie Yuanzhuo had escaped from prison.

Worse still, he had found her.

Obsessive mad dog love, ruthless pursuit, and he'd give his life for her with red-rimmed eyes ^ ^
