Pei Jingyu had recently been saddled with a no-name raising app.
It called itself a CEO-raising game. He got an SSR jackpot right from the start, but the kid was incredibly hard to raise.
Affection started in the negatives. His father didn't care about him, his mother didn't love him, and he had a black-hearted younger brother. If the kid starved to death, you had to watch a thirty-second ad to revive him.
As Pei Jingyu raised him, the affection meter crept up at a painfully slow pace. He thought the poor thing would never warm up, but one day the kid suddenly came into his own. He started working a bunch of part-time jobs to buy Pei Jingyu gifts. When bullied, he didn't cry. He comforted himself, then hit back twice as hard. Talk about delivering emotional support!
Pei Jingyu, now completely won over, spent money like crazy and did everything he could to help the kid reach the top. His raising-a-kid project was in full swing, but the kid's gaze grew more and more unsettling.
As time went on, the affection meter hit max? The kid's savings... became unlimited?
Pei Jingyu earnestly tried to reason with his little digital character. He told him this was a twisted kind of love, that they were separated by a dimensional barrier, and that it was impossible. He hoped the kid would learn to let go.
The chibi character lowered his eyes, a hidden obsession and feverishness in his gaze. "Impossible."
When the digital character showed up at his door, looking cool and aloof in a perfectly tailored suit, Pei Jingyu panicked a little.
When the digital character put on a cat-eared maid outfit, his eyes reddened from Pei Jingyu rubbing them, Pei Jingyu panicked a lot.
When the digital character held out handcuffs and a tie and asked Pei Jingyu to bind him, Pei Jingyu ran for his life!
But the door was locked.
Ahahaha, don't come any closer!
QAQ, weren't we supposed to let me top? Isn't this a little wrong?
The first half of business mogul Xie Zhaojun's life was spent under years of endless rain, enduring abuse and torment.
Everything changed one silent winter night. At first, snacks and books began appearing beside him.
Then came candy by his pillow, notes with gentle words, and thoughtful care in every detail.
On rainy days, someone would silently hold an umbrella over him.
Xie Zhaojun thought the nameless ghost's kindness must come with a price. He was sure he wouldn't be swayed by a ghost's soft tactics. Yet little by little, he fell for the other's praise and sweet talk, each word as intoxicating as arsenic.
The poor boy picked up the fallen star from the ground, and from then on, he never wanted to let go.
So, to his assistant's utter shock, Xie Zhaojun took off his limited-edition designer outfit and spent three minutes transforming himself into a fresh-faced eighteen-year-old college student.
On his way home from work, Pei Jingyu was cornered by a teary-eyed puppy of a young man. The guy tugged at his sleeve, eyes red and tears rolling down his cheeks. He looked utterly pitiful. "I'll be good. Please don't abandon me."
If you ignored the half-sack of freshly printed property deeds in the trunk of the Maybach across the street, he really was rather pitiful.
#Poor, but can buy the entire block in minutes
#The puppy acts pitiful, but his love is real.
★Needy, well-behaved, sweet-talking black-hearted top x soft-hearted, gentle, sunny bottom★
★
1. The top is sixteen at the start, not a child. (Important.)
2. This is the author's first long novel. The logic may be a little dreamlike and the characters a little unreal, all to make you happy. I'll keep trying. Thank you to every one of you for your support!
3. You can buy one chapter at a time. If you come across something you don't like, feel free to stop. You don't have to buy the whole story at once. There are so many stories out there; if this one isn't for you, try another.
4. Please add my new pre-release to your reading list!
Preview for My Dark Moonlight, the Obsessive Sword Venerable!
1.
Xie Jiuzheng's close friend had vanished.
The two had met through a letter sent to the wrong address. They discovered they had similar likes and dislikes, and often shared the same opinions.
Later, sharing little things about their lives and encouraging each other became part of their routine. They kept in touch for many years.
Who knew that after Xie Jiuzheng sent him a rare treasure, the man would run away?
2.
Qiao Xinglian transmigrated into a withered blade of grass in the Demon Abyss.
He had landed in a single-player game world whose main selling point was cultivating through dual cultivation with NPCs. Luckily, back then he'd only raised the favor of powerful characters by exchanging letters and getting resources. He'd played the game as a proper cultivation story.
Three hundred years had passed. If nothing had gone wrong, the promising character he'd chosen, a handsome portrait with maxed-out talent and a devoted personality that made it hard to lose his favor, should have risen to the top as the first disciple of the Sword Sect.
He was happily getting ready to meet his online friend in person when he heard the terrible news.
3.
The "Bright Star" had become a Sword Venerable, but he had one enemy: [Nine-Heart Qiao]. This person had stolen his magical artifact and deceived him in love. The Sword Venerable hated him to the core.
Qiao Xinglian saw black before his eyes. He couldn't defend himself.
He was doomed.
He tentatively sent a letter to Xie Jiuzheng's sworn enemy, only to be hunted down. A kind stranger who looked familiar rescued him, took him back to the sect, and somehow he ended up becoming his disciple.
Black hair and white robes, radiant as the moon after rain. The man sat high in the clouds, looking down at him just as the morning bell rang.
Qiao Xinglian stiffened. Suddenly, he realized who the man was.
4.
On the first day after becoming his disciple, Xie Jiuzheng gave him a protective jade pendant. It was a poisoned gift wrapped in candy, and Qiao Xinglian stayed on guard.
During the first week, Xie Jiuzheng gave him a book of swordsmanship insights. It was a hot potato, and Qiao Xinglian was suspicious.
During the first month, Xie Jiuzheng gave him a strand of his own sword intent. It was honey on a knife's edge, and Qiao Xinglian proceeded with caution.
But months passed, and nothing happened. It seemed the earlier incidents had all been coincidences. Perhaps Xie Jiuzheng hadn't recognized him.
He kept up the perfect image of a respected master and never mentioned their past. Maybe he'd already moved on.
Qiao Xinglian gradually let down his guard and settled into his enviable role as the Sword Venerable's first disciple.
5.
Until one day, he accidentally wandered into a secret chamber. One look inside sent a chill down his spine. It was filled with portraits of him.
The door slammed shut. His flawless master dropped the mask and advanced on him, leaving him nowhere to retreat.
Qiao Xinglian trembled with fear. "Please, don't kill me."
The man only smiled faintly. "How could I bear to kill you?"
"You once said your name came from [chocolate with a liquor center], a specialty of your hometown. But for a hundred years, I've traveled all over the world. I couldn't find you, and I never got to taste chocolate with a liquor center."
Xie Jiuzheng's icy fingers brushed back his bangs, tracing his features like a snake. He drew close and spoke with teasing intimacy.
"So now I'm going to 'eat' you."
"I'm sure you'll be even more delicious than chocolate with a liquor center."
Huh??? (°ж°`)!!!
Qiao Xinglian was so scared his eyebrows nearly fell off.
His pleas were useless. That night, he was dragged back again and again, until his voice was hoarse from crying. No one came to save him.
6.
When Xie Jiuzheng was young, he met someone and gave him his whole heart, only to be deceived.
Years of searching yielded nothing, and his inner demons tormented him day and night.
Yet, by some strange twist of fate, a fragment of his soul saved a blade of grass, then received a letter written in a different hand but with a message just like the one from long ago.
...I found you?
...I've got you now.
"If you can't hold the moon in your heart, then capture a sparrow for your cage."

Suddenly updated the bonus episode, I almost forgot the previous content 😭
This chapter is simply about rebelling against Tiangang (but it's inexplicably appropriate. Maybe it's because he feels that Xiao Xie is really capable of directly acquiring Xiao Pei's company (?))
