An Sasi brings a game System into the world of superheroes. To survive, he has to earn the approval of the various superheroes... But An Sasi is only intermittently fired up and consistently slacking off. He doesn't want Batman, Superman, or Iron Man keeping an eye on him. So what should he do?
The good news: He has a golden finger. The System can extract data from any game An Sasi has played and generate a powerful secret identity to match.
The bad news: An Sasi is terrible at games. The only ones he's ever played are the little 4399 games he played as a kid.
And so...
One day, the webbing of New York's friendly neighborhood Spider-Man collides with the hook from Gold Miner. A bewildered little Spider-Man is lifted one-handed by a muscular, white-haired old man. "Hey, kid! Where's the gold I hooked?"
A green-haired man whose hair looks like melting ice cream walks into the Penguin's Iceberg Lounge and looks around in disappointment. "Hey, hey, where's the 'iceberg' you promised? It's boiling in here... Never mind. How about I, kind soul that I am, help cool the place down?"
Iron Man goes out to rescue someone and comes back with a pink robot who claims to be the same species as him. It can't open doors or climb stairs, and whenever it runs into an obstacle, its first response is always, "Can I blow this up? Let's try."
Black Widow is pursuing her "love at first chime" target, but her foolish mark is led astray by another girl while out shopping. The Asian girl with beautiful eyes covers her mouth and laughs. "Love and souls belong only to the most charming eyes~"
The X-Men's Pyro, Iceman, and the Fireboy and Watergirl from Forest Temple stare at one another. Quicksilver, the Scarlet Witch, and Twin Blades of Flash look at each other in dismay. "Uh, wait, I mean... Does nobody else think we're overlapping here?"
An Sasi: If we didn't overlap, how else would I grind approval? (Looks away.)
A no-CP secret identity story~ As the blurb says, it brings together a whole bunch of things, and all the secret identities come from 4399 games (childhood memories!).
Things like Gold Miner, Bad Ice-Cream, BNB, Fireboy and Watergirl, Twin Blades of Flash, Beauty's Eyes... Maybe I'll add more. Anyway, I'm just jotting down an idea for now.
