Free Detective Conan Fiction
Mostly set entirely in the Detective Conan universe. A list for easy rereading.
Jujutsu Kaisen, Bungou Stray Dogs, Detective Conan, and Other Fandoms
Some fan fiction with writing, plots, and characterization I think are good, and characters who feel believable
My Miscellaneous Fully Purchased Reading List
Includes pure romance, fan fiction, and romance. Protagonist can be the top or bottom, or there can be no romance. I'll try anything.
Comfort With a Side of Angst
At least they made it out alive, right? Kudos to this great book, but here’s a warning for myself.
Looking Back at the Detective Conan Fanfiction I’ve Read
Includes both free and paid novels. I’m a little stricter with paid ones since they’re products. I pay more attention to the writing. Thanks to all the authors for sharing your work!
Detective Conan Fanfiction: Red and Black Faction (Mostly Red), Part 1
Protagonists whose morals are good or somewhat gray (maybe?). I update the reviews and add new titles from time to time. Actually, I'll include the dark and gray ones too, and mark them where needed.
Fanfiction
A mishmash of fanfiction. I couldn’t give them five stars, but it’s not because they’re bad. Every book I recommend is a five-star read to me.
Main Picks: Furuya Rei / Bourbon / Amuro Tooru
A fan of Furuya Rei, with a soft spot for the Police Academy crew and rescue stories. I like relationship arcs that are both sweet and angsty. A picky omnivore
[On Hiatus] Sampling Detective Conan Fanfiction
I'm a little burned out, so I'm taking a break from Detective Conan fanfiction. I'll update the list again once I've had a breather! 7/21
[Ongoing] Highly Rated Detective Conan Fanfiction Recommendations
Recording excellent works as I read them. I care a lot about the writing, while reasonable logic is enough. Mostly no pairing, with occasional boy-girl romance or boys' love. I will also explain why I do not recommend certain books.
No Substitute
An irreplaceable Detective Conan fanfic, absolutely delicious.
Detective Conan Rarepair Fanfic Recommendations
My preferences: 1. Good characterization and consistent logic over character settings 2. No romance > BL > BG 3. Police Academy Five > everyone else
Personal Bookshelf
My bookshelf is full, so I'm putting finished books here.
Completed Detective Conan Fanfic Recommendations (I Bought Them All)
Some of the best Detective Conan fanfiction, in my opinion. I’d give these five stars in my heart (I didn’t actually give them five because I can’t rate more than 50% of my books five stars). The plots aren’t boring, and they’re great reads
Free Reads and Short Stories
Written purely out of love, with all my passion poured into them. Free stories that aren't put behind a paywall have a special charm: they don't seem likely to end badly, and their plotting is meticulous. I'll delete them once I subscribe for the month.
Stories Related to Hiromitsu Morofushi
Mostly centered on Hiromitsu. Includes the Police Academy group and the Whiskey group. Pairings: gen or romance. For original characters, I usually only read Hiromitsu as the bottom. Canon pairings are versatile, with a slight preference for Rei/Hiromitsu, plus Gin/Suto, Rei/Suto, and others.
Short Fanfiction, Free Stories
Cute little short stories I read before, in all kinds of genres
Derivative Works 1 (Complete or Free)
…
Detective Conan Fanfiction
Original male protagonists, couples with great chemistry (not a fan of Gin pairings), and good writing
Bottom-Centric or No-Couple, Pretty, Powerful, Tragic, and Beloved by All
The bottom is the center of the world, and bottom worship is only natural! Overall, I read everything and am quite omnivorous, including fan fiction. No-romance stories tend toward familial and platonic bonds.
All Kinds of Detective Conan Fanfiction I Like
Made this list for a task, but I really do like these completed stories (13 books in 2024). Another task in 2025, so I'm adding a few more.
Free Detective Conan Fanfiction
Some free Detective Conan fanfics of all kinds. Read at your own risk
My Picks for the Finest Detective Conan Fanworks
I've probably reread most of these twice. BL comes first, but a good plot works too. I prefer the good guys, though the villains can't be too incompetent, or their sacrifices start to feel like a joke. I'm all about the emotional relationships :-D
Free Boys’ Love Spin-Offs
Novels worth rereading over and over. I only meant to keep a record, but every one is a hidden gem. Most are danmei with a bottom protagonist, plus three yuri novels and two with a top protagonist.

In the dark winery, Chablis loves Scotland. He needs Scotland. He is rooted in the darkness, but he also wants to see other vivid colors through this layer of darkness. Like a person walking in a black curtain, Chablis is eager to detect the vague light through the heavy curtain. Is the light cold or cold? Warmth, these do not need to be considered, he just needs to have it, and he can give everything for it. Jiang Guling and Zhu Fu Jingguang are together, dependent on each other, but also independent of each other. From Jiang Guling and Zhu Fu Jingguang to Bourbon and Scotland, from the light to the dark mud, they love each other. Until the death of Scotland, until all the sludge recedes, in that pale world, the heartbeat seems to be extremely prominent. They are the heritage of Scotland. Feng Gu Zero looked at Chablis, and Chablis looked at everything through the shadow of Scotland. His heart beat like the one he had felt in Scotland before, and then he saw Bourbon.
I don't know how to put it, but it's a saying that fits the occasion but doesn't fit the occasion. Love is the most profound curse.
Ahhhhh... The prerequisite for falling in love with each other is to love Jingguang... This is a brand new solution... [Bursts crying] It's so heavy and suffocating... But, there are still people who remember you and love you, Jingguang...
Zhu Fu Jingguang is the most dazzling treasure in the world, and his legacy is also the treasure he left to this world.
I read the first chapter a few weeks ago, and today I mustered up the courage to finish reading the follow-up [crying] [crying] What a complicated mood, such complicated feelings... Hiro, everyone is the person he cherishes.
Three people entangled together. . . Bond. . Knock well. . Let's fight to the death
I really can't describe the heavy and great love, love, love, and finally acceptance.
I read a few short articles by teachers and cried so hard that I used up half a pack of tissue paper. I can't do it anymore. I want to read some sweet articles to refresh myself. My heart is as shriveled and sour as an over-pickled pickle [crying] [crying] [crying]
Our love has the same roots. (Why is it so painful? It's like being in love. I watched it again and again. When I watched it for the first time, it didn't hurt. It was just a dull feeling. When I watched it again, I looked at them slowly and saw their pain. I also felt the pain in my heart. I just wanted to cry when I watched it again. It's written in big letters. It's so good.)
