I Became the Savior Through a News System

Originally titled: The Side Character Became a God Through a News System

Shen Zhi was just an ordinary high school student, until she woke up one day bound to a System called "Social News."

She became the protagonist of social news stories.

"Woman attacked while jogging at night. The culprit turned out to be..."

"The head of the largest child trafficking ring is missing."

"Was her depression and suicide real, or was she just young and immature...?"

Every day, she became the victim of a news story in her dreams.

Murdered, kidnapped, tortured.

She tried desperately to escape and save herself, thinking it was just a deadly game unfolding in her dreams.

Until one day, she started coming across familiar news stories while scrolling through videos.

One person told a reporter, "I was attacked at night, and a voice told me where to run. I followed it, got away, and even managed to subdue the culprit!"

Another posted a missing-person notice: "My child was found, and keeps talking about an auntie named Shen Zhi. My whole family is grateful to her. If not for her, I would never have seen my child again!"

And another said, "I was going to kill myself, but then I saw a savior."

And so, the internet gained a savior whom everyone believed in.

Shen Zhi: "???"

How did I suddenly become a savior?

.

The dreams took such a toll on Shen Zhi's mental health that she decided to move into the police station.

Not only did she repeatedly prevent murders before they could happen, she also unexpectedly helped the police crack several long-unsolved cases.

Shu Chi, captain of the police station's criminal investigation team, had solved countless cases and was a figure who struck fear into the hearts of criminals.

Even so, there were cases that gave him a terrible headache.

Then a recent high school graduate showed up at the station and described all those old cases as if she had personally witnessed them.

She said she had seen it all.

Not only had she seen it, she had lived through it.
