Armed with a Formula Book, I Become an All-Round Manager in a Sports Anime

I, Jiang Zhizhi, never imagined I would transmigrate into a game called Summer Romance with Athletic Boys and get my hands on a strategy guide.

It's a blank book with no words in it. But after I bump into a genius athlete, it fills up with all the information about that person.

All I want to do is yell, "That's freaking awesome!"

After all, in my previous life, I started my own sports club, but I couldn't find any talented players. In less than half a year, I'd burned through all my funds and gone bankrupt!

When I saw this book, I treasured it like a priceless gem. Is this the joy of having a golden finger?

All I need to do before opening the world's number-one sports club is grow up a little faster!

Wait, why did nobody tell me that a middle schooler can't do anything?

And so a young middle schooler embarked on a bumpy journey toward her dream, using the guidebook to nurture and recruit future tennis stars, basketball stars, and volleyball stars from an early age.

But somehow, things didn't develop at all the way I'd expected...

I wanted to use the happy memories we'd made together as kids to invite these genius athletes to join my club. But they thought I was asking them on a date.

Genius Fuji: "I've been waiting for this day for ages. I've already booked a restaurant."

Cool-headed Tezuka: "If possible, I'd like to go somewhere you like."

The Rainbow Five: "I can tell she invited only me, not you guys." (They point at one another and start fighting.)

Some big-shot: "Did you guys get it wrong? Of course she's going on a date with me." (Flicks her hair like a celebrity.)

Some twins: "I don't think so." (The twins exchange a look, then start fighting!)

Some flashy young master: (enters with a rose between his teeth) "It's obvious you're all getting ahead of yourselves. I'm the only one who can go on a date with her."

Me, holding the club's invitation letters: "..."

Where did I go wrong?!

Reader's Guide:

1. The story is told in first person.

2. There are more romance targets than the ones mentioned here. There'll be at least one team from every sport, and whoever gets written about gets written about. The author doesn't want to leave anyone out.

3. A Mary Sue story.

Theme: The road to competition is never smooth. You need determination, hard work, and the courage to keep moving forward.
