London is a blessed land teeming with cultists. It produces cultists, cultists, and more cultists.

Six months ago, Messias was an ambitious young Londoner. Six months later, he was an unlucky doctor repeatedly caught up in cult incidents.

Only beneath the cold lights of the Anti-Cult Bureau's interrogation room, as he recalled childhood memories that didn't exist and the scene of a ritual he had witnessed in a recent dream while playing the part of an evil god, did Messias finally realize:

Why do they assume I'm human?

(Original synopsis)

Messias opened and closed his eyes, only to discover that he had acquired a fresh, unfamiliar identity as an evil god, and had apparently ruined another cult's sacrifice while saving an unfortunate victim.

Trouble came one thing after another. His new housemate, whom he recognized, turned out to be the sacrifice he'd saved not long ago. A letter from an unknown sender was cryptic and full of hidden meaning. The Anti-Cult Bureau began pursuing him...

It seemed the unstoppable tide of fate was pushing him forward. Time surged on, and real history and the unreal arrived one after another. How could he find what was real in his dreams? How could he seek the future in a sealed-away past? Was he a lamplighter or a wanderer? Whether the end meant falling or rising, someone would press on without hesitation.

As for how it all began, everything seemed to start after he examined the records of a patient with a mysterious Eastern face. From that moment, the world opened its curtain to him, and a conspiracy seemed to unfold...
