The Everyday Life of an Ordinary Person

Always just a background character, a boy who happens to pass by on the street. Perhaps he has his hair in a low ponytail, and quietly walks past a young couple on their way to Teitan Middle School, holding a cat or a stuffed doll.

Or perhaps he's one of the faceless bystanders at an amusement park, eating cotton candy all by himself.

Or maybe, during a major kidnapping, he's one of the unfortunate innocent hostages among thousands of background characters.

Perhaps when people finally notice him, they'll exclaim, "Look, he's been through so much!"

But he's just an ordinary person.
