Tokyo Revengers: My Days as a Corporate Drone in Bonten

At a young age, Kano Chizuru devoted her life to work.

After graduating from college, she landed a job at an art gallery in her field. The pay was low and overtime was frequent, but it was a major corporation like Bonten. As long as she worked hard, her chance to get ahead was just around the corner.

Several executives looked like respectable gentlemen, but that did not stop them from flirting around and causing trouble. After Chizuru transferred from the sales department to the secretarial office, she spent every day running around cleaning up their messes.

“Rindou got stabbed by the young lover he was keeping and was admitted to the ICU. Ran’s gone berserk.”

Kano Chizuru: “...”

“I told you ages ago, no matter how close brothers are, they shouldn’t share a lover! Well, look what happened. Even a cornered rabbit will bite, and this one was a rabbit nobody could see~”

Mikey silently draped his coat over his girlfriend, who was giving her statement at the police station. “Thanks for all your hard work.”

“Seishu took sleeping pills. He’s at the hospital getting his stomach pumped.”

Kano Chizuru: “...”

“I told you ages ago, Kokonoi’s substitute-lover routine was bound to end in disaster! No matter how much affection someone has to give, he can’t keep treating them like that. And now he’s used it all up, hasn’t he?”

Mikey silently handed his girlfriend, who was tending to a patient at the hospital, an insulated lunchbox. “Eat something first, Chizuru.”

Chizuru paused with her chopsticks in hand. “What did you call me?”

“Chizuru.”

“You clearly called me Chizuru! So, you still haven’t forgotten your first love, you heartless jerk~”

“...” Mikey sighed.

There was no way they were going to finish this meal in peace.

Mikey, a secretary with nothing to his name and a spotless reputation / Kano, a little office worker who gets thoroughly fooled
