[Ouran High School Host Club] Those Years I Tried So Hard to Be an Ordinary Person

"A few days ago, an explosion occurred at the Schliersee Sanatorium in Germany. Taya Kage, younger sister of the currently acclaimed Go master Taya Akira, who earned the title of Meijin at just nineteen, was caught up in the incident."

"When Meijin Taya received the news, he was playing in the final round of the match against Honinbo Shusaku. He had the advantage in his game against Kondo Hikaru, but withdrew midway and rushed to Germany."

"Reports say Meijin Taya was extremely agitated. Even after being forcibly injected with a sedative, he impulsively assaulted staff members. He adamantly refused to identify the body as that of his sister, Taya Kage, and insisted that the deceased was not his sister. He also demanded that hospital staff conduct DNA testing, and the police are assisting with the investigation."

In the enormous bedroom, the only sound was the reporter's clear voice coming from the television in the center of the room. A Bohemian-style cashmere rug lay before the arched floor-to-ceiling windows. Gray sheer curtains hung down, concealing a girl curled up with her knees hugged to her chest, head bowed and silent.

Her long, dark green hair fell naturally down her back, its ends softly curled. Her pale little face was painfully fragile, and her slight frame was clad in a white slip dress. Her collarbones and neck were dotted with dense, mosquito-bite-like marks.

Behind her, a black-haired man wearing gold-rimmed glasses held her slender waist affectionately. He twirled a finger around her long hair, his voice low and hoarse, his tone casual. "Still listening to this boring report?"

"Brother will find me."

The man chuckled. "If that day really comes, the TV will have to report on someone else, Kage."
