A Little One's Struggle to Keep the Family Fed in the Apocalypse

Blurb:

The apocalypse arrived. Five-year-old Jing Yue's parents were both dead, so he fled with his uncle and aunt toward a base. But when they were surrounded by zombies, his uncle and aunt threw him into the zombie horde to draw their attention, then ran away.

Jing Yue thought he was done for, but a pair of icy hands picked him up and carried him home.

From then on, Jing Yue had a family.

It was just that there was something a little off about his parents.

They walked strangely, as if their whole bodies might fall apart with every step, and their body temperatures weren't like those of ordinary people.

But Jing Yue loved them anyway.

When they found food, he was the first one they thought of, even if it was bloody raw meat.

When they found clothes, they gave them to him, even if they were adult size 180.

When they found toys, they let him play with them, even if the toy was an excavator.

Later, for the sake of his education, his parents even took him to a human base.

Looking at his parents, who were so out of place among humans, Jing Yue fell into thought. He'd have to give them a few more lessons on human behavior, so they wouldn't accidentally expose their zombie identities.

One day, the little tyrant of the human base met an adorable little cutie he couldn't stop thinking about.

The cutie had big, adorable eyes and was so cute he practically radiated bubbles.

It was just that his parents seemed to be sick. They walked with their legs crossing, stuttered when they spoke, and sometimes twitched.

His dad said it was called a stroke, and it couldn't be cured.

The little tyrant looked at the cutie with sympathy.

Aww, his adorable little brother had such a tragic life.

He'd have to be extra nice to his little brother from now on.

Notes: 1. The story is mainly about raising a child. The romance between the leads only begins in the middle to later part of the story.

2. The little one has a few tricks of his own. This isn't pure fluff.
