The Villain's Little One Is Everyone's Darling in the Contaminated Zone

Synopsis:

Animals become irritable and violent after being polluted, and are known as pollutants. Eventually, humans dumped them in the dense forests of polluted zones and kept them under strict watch. The animals came to hate humans so deeply that they wanted to wipe them all out.

Then, one day, a human finally trespassed into their territory.

As soon as they got the news, they sprang into action, determined to kill the human.

But when they saw the human who'd been branded their common enemy, they were stunned. Nobody had said the human was a tiny baby!

Mu Cheng was a young qilin with a mountain of his own, but his mountain had fallen into ruin. All the plants and animals were gone, and he starved to death in the forest. When he woke up, he was in a new world.

He was delighted to find himself wrapped in a net made of tree branches.

"Thank you, Uncle Tree, for taking me on a swing."

The tree, which had meant to strangle the human baby with its net: "..."

When a hunting leopard opened its huge jaws at him, the little one thoughtfully popped a fish into its mouth.

"Here, have a fishy. Eat until your tummy is full."

The hunting leopard, which had meant to eat the human baby, chewed and chewed. The fish was delicious...

A cobra attacked from a distance, spraying venom at him. The little one pouted and carried it to the river.

"Snake, you're so dirty. You got me all messy."

The cobra, which had meant to poison the human baby, was forced to take a bath. Hmm, being clean wasn't so bad.

One pollutant after another came up to the human baby and tried to kill him in the most brutal way.

The little qilin, who had seen every plant and animal on his mountain die, looked at the pollutants with shining eyes.

Wow, animals! Alive!

I love them!

The base in the polluted zone was responsible for containing pollutants. The people and animals there suffered under the effects of pollution levels, believing they didn't have long to live, until the little qilin appeared.

They discovered that the sound waves he produced could lower their pollution levels, clear their minds, and free them from their suffering.

So they carved stone statues of the little qilin, treating him as a divine baby and their hope.

The story is a slow burn. The early chapters focus on raising the baby. The love interest won't appear until the middle, and the romance only begins after the baby grows up.

Synopsis for Beloved by the Spirits of the Entire Mountain:

Bai Tuantuan was a young auspicious beast with a physical disability. Because he couldn't use his healing powers continuously, everyone disliked him. No matter how hard he tried, no one loved him.

Then one day, he transmigrated to a new world.

The people of this world didn't get angry when they saw him. Instead, they took him home and cared for him attentively, giving him a happy life he'd never had before.

For the first time, he could eat until he was full.

For the first time, he had a little room of his own, with his own little bed.

For the first time, so many people loved him.

So he would do his best to repay them.

New spirit-babies hadn't been born in the mountains for a long time. With spiritual energy so scarce, the spirits couldn't cultivate, and one after another they left for the human world. The mountains had lost their former glory.

Most of the spirits left behind were old, weak, sick, or disabled, and could easily die at the slightest mishap.

One day, the Mountain God of Qiming Mountain brought home a spirit-baby he'd found outside.

The adorable little one toddled among them.

Today, he helped drive the yin energy from their bodies. Tomorrow, he planted vegetation that could purify the yin energy. The day after, he even restored much of their spiritual energy.

The spirits of Qiming Mountain bragged: What a dilemma. What should we do when the little one is so well-behaved?

Spirits from other mountains: We can help with that dilemma. Just hand the little one over to us.

The old, weak, sick, and disabled spirits of Qiming Mountain immediately perked up, rolled up their sleeves, and got to work.

Steal our baby? Let's see anyone try!

The spirits from the other mountains fled in disarray. Terrifying! Weren't they supposed to be old, weak, sick, and disabled?

1. The story focuses on raising the baby. The romance between the love interests doesn't begin until the middle or later.

2. The baby is the most charming one of all, and all the love and affection is for him.

3. These are my own spirits, with lots of original worldbuilding. Don't take it too seriously. If it's not for you, please move on.
