The Black Drop Effect [Infinite]

It all began when Shi Yanyi saw a little girl bouncing a ball.

The ball fell into the pond in the park. Shi Yanyi kindly went to retrieve it, but the smooth ball became uneven in his hands. Its damp, slippery texture felt like a person's features.

The little girl smiled from the shore. "Big brother, give me my ball."

The supernatural had returned, and strange incidents were happening constantly. The slightest misstep could send someone stumbling into a haunted realm.

Even stranger, there seemed to be an uninvited tenant living in Shi Yanyi's shadow.

It watched him.

Day or night, wherever he went, the tenant in his shadow watched him.

Every night, "It" would step out of his shadow and lie beside Shi Yanyi.

Its body was ice-cold.

Lost for endless years in a world like a nightmare, in a moment of idle boredom, "■■■" recalled his memories of being human.

Even the feelings he had possessed as a human came back to him.

Weary, "■■■" took a part of himself and shared his name with it.

Shi Yanyi.

It was the name he had long forgotten, the name he had originally borne.

He wanted to return to the past.
