(A plug for my ongoing novel, Transmigrating to 1975. The blurb is below.)
Blurb:
In 1995, Jiang Fu was walking home after her night shift when she was unexpectedly left alone and knocked unconscious.
Song Chengyi chased off the people who tried to assault her, carried her on his back for an hour, and got her to the hospital for emergency treatment.
Those people falsely accused Song Chengyi of molesting her while she was unconscious. Before she could testify and clear his name, she was kidnapped again. By the time Song Chengyi found her, one of Jiang Fu's legs had been broken. She was left limping, and both Song Chengyi and her family's home, which was due to be demolished, were bought out. They never became rich, but Song Chengyi spent half her life giving her the happiest days she had ever known.
When she was critically ill, the man's heart broke. He asked her if she had any regrets in life.
Jiang Fu used the last of her strength to say, "That year, when I was framed and you carried me to the hospital, if I'd woken up sooner, I could have caught the kidnappers. I could have kept my family's house from being sold before the demolition, and saved your family's home too. You could have lived comfortably as a demolition-compensation heiress."
After saying what she regretted, Jiang Fu closed her eyes. When she opened them again, she had returned thirty years into the past.
Jiang Fu blinked, turned away, and wiped the tears from her eyes. "Song Chengyi, wait for me."
This time, she'll marry Song Chengyi before anything else, keep the demolition compensation safe, and get revenge on everyone who wronged her.
Transmigrating to 1975 is now available. Please add it to your collection!
In 1975, Lin Wanying, the prettiest educated youth in Qingshan Commune, refused to be forcibly married off by the commune director's family. She injured the men sent to kidnap her, and the director's family tried to send her to prison. Mu Qingchuan saved her and kept her out of jail.
That same day, Lin Wanying learned that she had been granted a spot to return to the city, but her family had sold it to someone else. She could no longer go home.
She endured another three years in the countryside. When the college entrance exams resumed, she passed and returned to the city, only to be framed and expelled from school. She ended up running a food stall outside a factory compound.
Mu Qingchuan came to eat noodles every day. Three months later, she married him.
Only after they married did she discover that Mu Qingchuan's family was just as unlucky as hers. The taciturn man stoically protected his family and gave her the happiest three years of her life.
After Mu Qingchuan died, Lin Wanying and his three younger siblings relied on one another.
His younger brother got into a fight and was sent to juvenile detention, losing his chance to take the college entrance exam. His younger sister was introduced to a terrible man, and less than three months after their marriage, she was driven mad by his abuse.
His other younger brother said before he died, "Sister-in-law, I don't think our family has ever done anything terrible. So why is it that after moving to the factory compound, our whole family has either died or been hurt?"
Only after her death did Lin Wanying learn that she and Mu Qingchuan's family were merely important supporting characters in a period novel. Thanks to his powerful instincts, Mu Qingchuan had saved her from prison, then protected his entire family for three years after they married.
After transmigrating back to 1975, Lin Wanying looked at the man who had just saved her from prison, though they had never even met, and smiled softly.
This time, she wouldn't waste years on twists and turns and miss her chance. She would marry Mu Qingchuan right away and become his wife.
