(The main story is complete. My next novel, Becoming a Stepmother in the 1950s, has begun serializing. The blurb is below. Please add it to your collection!)
Blurb:
Lin Wanying is reborn, and only then learns the real reason her husband divorced her: his first love's family had been politically rehabilitated, and the shameless pair couldn't wait to divorce their respective spouses so they could be together.
Everyone mocks Lin Wanying, saying her husband, an educated youth, divorced her because he disliked that she had learned to fight with weapons from her late father, failed to have children, and had to bring up a younger brother.
To change the fate she had before being reborn, Lin Wanying decides to go to the capital and find Gu Liansheng, another divorcee in the same predicament. Together, they'll form a new family and raise the children by agreement!
Gu Liansheng receives an urgent telegram: his wife of five years is making a huge scene, insisting on a divorce. On his way back, he runs into a clash with bandits. A charming young woman suddenly springs into action, knocking out one bandit with each punch and preventing any casualties.
As he chats with the heroine, Gu Liansheng asks, admiringly, "Miss, are you going to the capital to stay with relatives?"
Lin Wanying casually replies, "I'm divorced. My family arranged a good match for me: a public security officer named Gu Liansheng. I saw you catching bandits and couldn't help wanting to lend a hand."
Gu Liansheng: ... There are plenty of people with the same name. It must be a coincidence.
Gu Liansheng has been married to his wife for five years, and they've treated each other with icy politeness. Now that her family has been politically rehabilitated, she can't wait to divorce him, leaving him with her mischievous younger brother.
Freshly divorced, Gu Liansheng is at his wits' end when a sister-in-law from the residential compound praises him: "Liansheng, you found yourself a new wife right after your divorce! That's the way to get back at her. She's already at your door, so hurry home and take a look. She's beautiful and gentle, too."
Gu Liansheng: ... Since when did I get another wife?
Lin Wanying finds Gu Liansheng's home. When Gu Liansheng gets back, he'll be divorced and single.
They haven't even formed their new family yet, and her younger brother and Gu Liansheng's younger brother, Gu Shuisheng, two boys of similar age, are already wrestling with each other.
Lin Wanying pins one boy down with each hand and ties them up neatly with a hemp rope.
Lin Wanying figures that even the two boys together aren't as naughty as she was as a child. As long as Gu Liansheng agrees, raising children together should work out just fine!
Lin Wanying has already won over the Gu family's children when the young public security officer she ran into on the road a few days earlier salutes her. "Hello, Comrade Wanying. I'm Gu Liansheng."
Lin Wanying: ...
The two make the best of it and begin their chaotic life of raising children who run them ragged!
Blurb for Becoming a Stepmother in the 1950s:
Jiang Yu, a model young woman of the 21st century, dies suddenly, and her awful boss still owes her a year-end bonus.
Jiang Yu visits her boss in a dream and scares him into donating that bonus to the parentless children in the preschool class she taught.
Perhaps Heaven decided that she hadn't done much wrong in her twenty-five years, and that even in her final moment she was thinking of donating her unspent money to orphans. So it lets her transmigrate to the 1950s, where she becomes the stepmother of three children.
Jiang Yu worked with plenty of children as a preschool teacher. Now that she's a stepmother to three, she can treat it as a job with a monthly salary. Why not give it a try?
Mu Chengfeng leaves a field hospital and returns to the hospital at his post. Seeing that his three children have been raised by their stepmother until they're as thin as bamboo poles gives him a splitting headache.
His family introduces him to a young woman of eighteen who says she's good with children. She asks him to pay her a monthly salary and treat her like a kindergarten teacher hired to look after his kids. That seems like it could work, so he decides to give it a try.
Theme: Life doesn't let down those who work hard, and good fortune favors those who stay positive.
Rebirth first and then soul transfer. The structure of the article is confusing and not very exciting.
I really don't like this setting. The first half is okay, but why is it like this later?
Xiaoyu's rebirth didn't end well either
It's delicious, I love it, and I end up spreading flowers [Spreading Flowers]
Congratulations on the ending, are there any extras?

Does the matter of giving birth to his grandfather and uncle have anything to do with his father?
