A Day in the Life of an Ancient Immigrant's Breadwinner

Wen Nuan, an agricultural technician who goes to the countryside to help farmers, has an accident and travels back to ancient times.

Her parents-in-law have both passed away, and her fiance was forcibly conscripted by the previous dynasty five years ago and sent to war. There has been no word from him, and no one knows whether he is alive or dead.

He has also left behind a three-year-old younger sister and two younger brothers, aged five and eight.

The war has just ended, and a new dynasty has been established.

To restore agricultural production as quickly as possible and balance the population, the court issues a resettlement policy.

She has only just migrated from the north to the south. The only tools available to clear the land are the two hoes, one rake, and one cleaver distributed by the authorities.

But that's all right. She has the know-how!

P.S.:

1. This is a fictional setting, merely inspired by the great migration from Shanxi in the early Ming. Please don't scrutinize it too closely.

2. A tale of an ordinary person making a living and building a better life after migrating in ancient times. Family life and an ensemble cast.

Theme: Farming, building a livelihood, growing wealthy, and achieving a moderately prosperous life.
