The Female Lead Has Connections in the Underworld

Shen Xingyan, a hugely popular star with tens of millions of fans, suddenly received a call from the police. They told him that his older sister, who had supposedly died years ago, had actually survived and given birth to a daughter. The girl was now being reported. The alleged crime: promoting feudal superstition and swindling elderly people out of their money. Shen Xingyan: ??? The day he brought the girl home came with a trending topic of its own. In a set of photos released by paparazzi, Shen Xingyan was stopped at airport security while escorting a little girl with features almost identical to his. Security guards searched her backpack and suitcase and found more than a hundred blades of all kinds: scissors, sickles, kitchen knives, and more! # As the latest inheritor of the Knife-on-Credit trade, Shen Xiaotang never forgets her master's teachings. One tool, one prophecy. Credit only, never sell. Collect payment when the prophecy comes true. # Seeing his frail little niece, Shen Xingyan assumed she must have suffered greatly during all those years away from home. He never imagined that, not long after bringing her back, the director of a variety show she appeared on would come over with a friendly smile and ask if Shen Xiaotang could sell him a knife. After that, Shen Xiaotang handed him a ledger, saying that everyone listed in it owed her a debt. If Shen Xingyan needed anything, he could take the ledger and collect from them directly. Many of the names in the ledger belonged to famous people: business tycoons, leading scientists, and even several industry veterans he knew personally. But what shocked Shen Xingyan most was discovering by chance that Shen Xiaotang had another ledger. The names written inside included: Horse-Taming Envoy, Scissors Envoy, Ghost-Eyed Lord, Wanderer...?!?! # He thought the niece he'd taken in would be a pitiful little girl. He never expected she'd be the one to carry him to success! She has connections in the mortal world, and she's well connected in the underworld too! P.S.: 1.
