The main story is complete! Feel free to check out my author page, and if anything catches your eye, please add it to your favorites (wink). The next story will probably be the Infinite genre novel Escape from the Asylum [Infinite] or the xianxia novel Raising a Sword to the Lamp While Drunk. Their blurbs are below. Feel free to bookmark them!
【Sickly, vindictive minister on the receiving end × deranged, wickedly charming Embroidered Guard on the pursuing end】
·
In his previous life, Shen Yan'an was poisoned to death by the new emperor with a cup of poisoned wine.
When he opened his eyes again, Shen Yan'an, consumed by regret and bent on revenge, started settling an old score with Chu Tingxiao, the Embroidered Guard who had walked right into his trap. Not long ago, Chu had swooped in and stolen one of Shen Yan'an's cases.
But before he could get started, Shen Yan'an suddenly coughed up blood and collapsed in front of Chu Tingxiao.
Chu Tingxiao: ...Are you trying to shake me down?
That one bout of coughing blood earned Shen Yan'an an inescapable "personal bodyguard." Chu Tingxiao brazenly kept him under surveillance, with the excuse that Lord Shen was frail and might collapse on the road and... frighten the people, causing a lot of trouble.
Shen Yan'an endured it.
When Chu Tingxiao climbed over the wall into his home, Shen Yan'an made him sweep the floor to humiliate him.
Shen Yan'an dumped an unsolvable case on Chu Tingxiao. Chu, in turn, stood by and watched an undercover agent set the Shen residence on fire.
When they investigated a mine together, they both went all out to make life difficult for each other.
Shen Yan'an: One kick and you'll land in a mob of man-eating miners!
Chu Tingxiao: I'll blow up the mountain and bury you alive!
In the end, they both suffered the consequences of their own schemes, crawling out of the rubble covered in wounds.
Even so, they were still thinking: If I don't take you down next time, I'll admit defeat.
*
That was, until Shen Yan'an was framed and thrown in prison, where he was tortured until he was barely recognizable. His legs were broken, and he was blind.
Chu Tingxiao stormed the culprit's residence alone, sword in hand. In one night, he wiped out the entire family.
The next day, every corpse from the household was hung from a long beam. Without exception, their legs had been cut off.
Reader advisory:
1. Sickly bottom × white-haired top. The top's split personality gets better very quickly. Both are each other's first and only.
2. No extreme possessiveness, please. The couple are perfectly happy on their own.
3. Not a typical political intrigue story. A reborn revenge tale with a touch of fantasy, since rebirth comes at a cost.
4. They go through a phase of saying one thing and doing another, followed by a little guilt, but they still use each other.
5. Includes flashbacks.
Blurb break: Raising a Sword to the Lamp While Drunk
The immortal sects are many, each with its own strengths.
Among them, the Eight Prodigies have boundless prospects. The cultivation world describes them like this:
Jing Xingzhi, the emotionless sword fanatic; Yan Danglou, the dashing saber wielder.
The Yun twins, masters of twin Gu; Liu Songsong, friend to cranes and sparrows.
Qu Tao, born with a bewitching beauty; Xie Jingyi, a young diviner.
Fu Wangchen, who walks between the realms of yin and yang, the Nuo god of this age.
All are renowned, with countless admirers. But behind closed doors...
Jing Xingzhi is sharp-tongued and tactless; Yan Danglou is devoted to beautiful married women.
The Yun twins are into taboo relationships; Liu Songsong is a bird-loving idiot.
Sister Qu Tao is devious and heartless; Fu Wangchen is barely human.
Xie Jingyi: As for me, hahaha, I'm simply the finest person in the world! (wink)
The other six: ...Damn, my fists are itching.
Fu Wangchen, expressionless: ...Mine too.
Xie Jingyi (bottom) × Fu Wangchen (top)
A cocky young man who thinks the world of himself × a cool, peerless beauty who quietly cleans up after him
Their first meeting:
Xie Jingyi: Fu Wangchen is a green mountain. I find the mountain so charming, but when it looks at me, it's like, "Who are you?"
Fu Wangchen: (poor eyesight plus face blindness.jpg)

Blurb break: Escape from the Asylum
Main story synopsis:
To everyone else, Bo You is a complete lunatic.
So he checked himself into a psychiatric hospital.
But why are people looking at him even more strangely now?
Fortunately, this terrifying and bizarre psychiatric hospital seems tailor-made for him. Bo You would gladly stay here for the rest of his life.
The only drawback is that his assigned supervisor is unbearably annoying.
Jin Zhou: "Now that you're in a psychiatric hospital, how will you prove you aren't mentally ill?"
Bo You stared at his neck and said coldly, "Kill everyone who doesn't believe me."
"...That's so brutal QAQ. I love it."
Bo You (bottom): An unsociable, sharp-tongued, deranged beauty with a cold face, and a patient.
Jin Zhou (top): A flirtatious rogue who poses as a gentleman, a refined scoundrel and supervisor.
Everyday interview:
Question: What's made you happiest since entering the psychiatric hospital?
Bo You: That Jin guy triggered a supervisor rule violation, got demoted by the System for a week, and then I got to beat him up in a treatment world. Ideally, I'd beat him to death.
The unfortunate Jin, who is also the supervisor: Me? Obviously... trapping a butterfly in a mirror ^ ^

Reader advisory:
1. When the top and bottom go crazy, they're kindred spirits in a dreary landscape. Their thought processes are bizarre, and their antics are even more outrageous.
2. A completely fictional, non-realistic setting. Any resemblance is purely coincidental.
3. A very long story. Each arc leans toward romance, with fewer brain-burning mysteries. The genres are varied and include, but are not limited to, Western fantasy, Chinese-style horror, school stories, and urban legends.
4. Both are each other's first and only. The top is nonhuman, and the bottom has white hair. The pairing will not be split or reversed. Extreme possessiveness, please steer clear.
5. There are author-created details everywhere. I have the final say on how they are explained.
