[Naruto] The Loving Uchiha

Hashirama had a nightmare. He dreamed that the ANBU threw open the door to his house and urgently reported a major incident in Konoha.

His heart clenched. Had Madara's younger brother really sold out Konoha?

"The entire Uchiha Clan has defected!"

Hashirama was dumbfounded. He hurriedly asked the ANBU what Madara was planning to do.

"Lord Madara said they're going to become pirates."

Hashirama: ???

"They also knocked out Lord Tobirama and took him with them!"

Hashirama jolted awake. Seeing Luffy, who was still visiting his home, he patted his chest in relief. Thank goodness it was only a dream.

Tobirama used to think that dealing with the evil Uchiha Clan required being cunning and calculating. Later, he realized that wasn't necessary at all. You didn't need a brain.

Naturally, his attitude drew public outrage. At times like this, Madara would always casually encourage his younger brother to visit the Senju Clan around mealtime. With Luffy mooching meals day after day, the Senju Clan began its decline.

Luffy once had a dream: to become the First Hokage. But his dream faced obstacles from all sides.

At the time, the leaders of the Senju and Uchiha Clans were earnestly trying to pass the position of First Hokage back and forth, because some despicable person had talked Luffy into joining the Hokage Guard.

But when they heard Luffy announce his dream, all they could picture was the Konoha they had just worked so hard to build getting wrecked.

Tobirama offered a particularly sharp assessment: "There's a difference between having a dream and indulging in wishful thinking."

The two clan leaders immediately came to an agreement and decided that the position of First Hokage would be shared.

Reader's guide:

1. Luffy is born into the Uchiha Clan. What happens when an extroverted social menace ends up among a bunch of introverts? He's Konoha's famous diplomat, with no shortage of friends.

2. He has two older brothers, Madara and Izuna. He's a big brother-con, but their brocon tendencies are even worse.

3. Luffy grows over the course of the story. He's terrible at chakra control and very weak at first, but little by little he'll go from a crybaby who follows his brothers everywhere to a real man.

4. He won't awaken his eyes. If he does, his brothers will die.

5. He doesn't eat a Devil Fruit, but by changing the properties of his chakra, he'll gain most of the same traits as a rubber person. He's immune to lightning-style jutsu, has max poison resistance, and possesses extraordinary regenerative abilities and a stretchy body. His weakness is genjutsu, which he has almost no talent for.

6. Some original characters will become Luffy's companions in Konoha.
